Who is Urd?: In Norse mythology there
was said to be 3 sisters (Urda, Verdande,
and Skuld) who were representatives of
the three fates in Greek mythology, the
present (Belldandy), the past (Urd), and
the future (Skuld). Theres another in
charge of eternity (Peorth) but we won't
go into that. The three sisters took care
of Yggdrasil, (Don't ask how to pronounce
it) or the tree of life, if you will. |

In Aa! Megami-Sama,
Yggdrasil is the computer system that God uses to
keep reality intact. Urd is the system
manager.
Aside from her special passion for sake, Urd
loves to sing (Urd at the Karaoke bar after a few
shots of sake is a match truly made in Heaven...
heh heh). She is also very handy with potions and
has made several elixirs of love in hopes that
Keiichi would finally tell Belldandy how he feels
about her.

Fact: Contrary to
popular belief, Urd is Belldandy's half sister
only. In the manga, Volume 5, Belldandy explains
to Keiichi that Urd is half demon and half
goddess (the demon being her father). I guess
thats supposed to explain her crazy behavior,
right?.. whatever.
