Rurouni Kenshin Chapter 227: Another Four Days, Another Person...

Enishi practices his swordskill in the backyard of his mansion by cutting
down a tree w/ "Shuugeki Tousei", the techique which he kicks the back of
his sword and boosts the strike in vol. 23... Kaoru comments that he's
pretty good considering the injury he bears. Enishi says to her "no thanks
to her cooking" and Kaoru got angry in SD form :).
Then the No.2 guy of Enishi's Chinese mafia, Wu Heishin w/ his four huge
guards, tells Enishi that the Japanese police had discovered their hideout
and are about to head out to their island soon. He also informs Enishi
that, meanwhile, the one-armed man who uses his weapon has gone on rampage
in town. Enishi is amused and says, "Kujiranami? That guy is crazy anyway
(yeah, like he's the one to say :P)... So what's w/ him, is he dead yet?"
Heishin responds, "no, I'm not quite sure about the details, but it's said
that the commotion was settled by the swordsman w/ a cross-scar on his left
cheek". Kaoru realizes that it's Kenshin and cheers. Enishi is surprised
for a moment, but he smiles again and gives his usual psychotic speech while
gripping his Watou :P, "the living hell is too lenient, I must send that man
to hell as that's my sister's true wish. I have to kill that man w/ my own
hands in order to make sister smile again, that man is dead". Kaoru's
shocked...
In the clinic where Megumi works for. Kenshin and Yahiko are both lying on
beds resting, since Yahiko was messed up by the whale, and Kenshin starved
himself for days, plus his own mental turmoil. Yahiko's head is wrapped
around w/ bandages (imagine the first time Sano got beaten by Kenshin) and
sleeping soundly, and so is Kenshin. Then Saitou comes in and tells the
gang that after four days, the squad from the police department would enter
and cease the island. If they don't have any luck (capturing Enishi that
is), then it's up to us to do whatever needed to be done. Misao got mad at
Saitou's lack of concern for Kenshin since he has just made a major revival.
Megumi agrees...
Saitou walks out the corridor and recalls Kenshin's words telling him to
spare Mumyoui (spiderman), "I do not wish to see anyone being killed in
front of me". Satiou thinks for a moment and murmurs, "so that's the path
that you choose after all... ". It seems as if Saitou finally understands
and feels sympathetic towards Kenshin's non-killing vow and his determined
ideal.
Meanwhile, Tsubame is sitting next to Yahiko's bed and holding his hand.
Megumi comments that (or is it Aoshi?) Yahiko's done his best. Megumi later
thinks to herself, "so four more days, and...... there's still one more
person (Sano)".
Suddenly it pans to a local street in town, a new girl unknown to us is
standing outside a pub. A big malicious-looking man stands before her...
The girl tells him that she wants to see her father. The man says something
back, "this is what your dad says, 'if you want to talk, then fight w/ him
directly'" (????)
Then we finally catch sight of the bandana guy who's been gone for a while
(yatta for Sano fans), an extremely furious Sano coming out of the pub. He
just beat up some small fry there and says, "Didn't you hear me to tell you
to shut up?! I'll fight for no matter how much money, whoever bothers me
from enjoying sake, even the countryside Yakuza!"
And ends the chapter.
