Rurouni Kenshin Chapter 231

Fudousawa's uncle is Tani, from the Jineh episodes.
and as soon as he realizes who Sano is, he gets nervous
about having Kenshin backing up Sano.. so he tells
Fudousawa to crush them ASAP before Kenshin (and other
former Ishin Shishi) hear about this.
Sano gets invited over to the Higashidani family's
home for dinner, and he finds out Kamishimo-emon's
wife (and Sano's mom) passed away 2 years ago.
and the rest of the chapter...
the people of the village come over to Higashidani's
with rice, veggies, etc as "payment" for the strawhats.
they tell Kamishimo-emon that they want to fight with
him. he refuses their help, but tells them that he'll
be stronger knowing that the hearts of all the villagers
are one. (i made it sound cornier than it really was...)
Fudousawa, Tani, and their men with torches & misc
weapons get ready to fight.. and kill anyone who gets
in the way.
