Rurouni Kenshin Chapter 236 : Landing

Heishin spots approaching ships closing in on the crescent island that
houses his and Enishi's base, and has set up a defensive matrix of sea
mines around the bay to deter anyone from making a landing. Kenshin asks
the group (Sanosuke, Yahiko, Megumi, Kenshin, Misao, and Aoshi) to lend him
their power. Saitoh announces that they'll land soon and that they should
start making preparations for it. All of a sudden, an explosion rocks the
side of one of the vessels, and the group all realizes it was caused by a
sea mine.

The seven scramble into a small boat and Misao takes charge, planning to
detonate the sea mines with her throwing knifes. She can't figure out how
far one of them is, however ("Over there... it's sixty two meters ahead,
and thirty meters to the right... wait... is it thirty-two? Thirty?") Aoshi
tells her that it's 61.5 meters ahead and 29 meters to the right. Misao
aims, and chucks the knife into the ocean.
The mine safely explodes underwater.

Misao appears happy that she's helped Kenshin out (this is her way of
lending him strength). Mine after mine explodes, and the boat eventually
reaches shore. Heishin is struck speechless. Enishi grins, and waits for
their arrival. The seven step out onto the island, ready to fight.
