Saved at night from an attack by a crow by a kind-hearted doctor, Shuuichirou Kudou, Kohaku - an angel in chibi form at night-time and human form at daytime- vowed to fulfil a wish for him in order to repay his kindness. However, as he had no wish that he wanted to be fulfilled, it stayed at his house, hoping that it could be of some help to him and waited for Shuuichirou to say his wish. But it could not do anything to help him except with chores like watering the plants which was a very wet experience for Shuuichirou when it watered the plants for the first time and sweeping the floor. Cooking is impossible as angels could not bear to eat live things and they themselves need not eat. Everytime it wanted to help him do something, it would always end up in a mess. Moreover, Kouryuu, a demon, who often bullied Kohaku found out it's wherabouts and is bound to making trouble for Kohaku.
