The second story arc of
Kaos Moon is set in Ancient Egypt. Initially Katja is guest starring
in a televised show called The Unknown. During the course of the
episode she gets images of Jules, hurt and in pain. Back in Greenwich Village,
Jules is watching the show in Thomas apartment. As a distraction from the
show, Jules tries out a new invention from Thomas, a displacement device,
which, oddly enough, actually works. This invention takes through time
to ancient Egypt, where they are made prisoners by animal headed creatures.

Anubian
Nights |
The last chapter of Anubian
Nights is kind of weird. Jules and Thomas are killed by the Egyptians,
in order to satisfy their angry gods. Kaos Moon is still under Anubis'
spell and she is now offered to Seth as a bride. Meanwhile, Jules is having
a weird experience all by himself. He meets different versions of himself
and solves weird riddles, all which lead to meeting another weird, yet
powerful, being--Amex Nimeon. Of course he gives us his life story and
what his race do and all that cool stuff.

Back home, Katja returns
home to find a fire burning in the apartment and both Jules and Thomas
gone. With help from aromatic candles, she sends Kaos Moon to travel time
and find her lost friends. Egypt has problems of its own. Once Kaos Moon
arrives she meets Anubis, who tricks her into walking an enchanted garden
with him. Walking among flowers, Kaos Moon looses her consciousness and
falls victim to Anubis ploy to dethrone Seth.

Back in the Temple of Karnak,
Kaos Moon and the long lost Horus are fighting to gain control of Seth.
But, just as everything gets interesting, Amex Nimeon intervenes, ending
the dispute and returning Kaos Moon and Jules to their home land. In the
last pages it is revealed that....now wait a minute, what kind of a fan
would I be if I told you? You have to read it yourself and find out who
these creatures are, what they want and just what did happen to
Jules and Thomas.
