0087-A small AEUG force slips into Side 3 Colony 1 to destroy a new Titan secret weapon. While there they team up with Axis forces and discover that the Gundam RX-78GP-O3 is the weapon, and that its Dendrobium has been rebuilt. However the armament has been changed to tactical nukes. Axis double-crosses the AEUG team and attempts to steal the Dendrobium for itself after the stamen is destroyed by Hideo Carson. Axis fails to steal the Dendrobium when it is destroyed by Victor Charlie with a bazooka shot to the inside of the weapon pack. The two sides then begin fighting each other, with Axis having the clear advantage. The party is saved at the last minute by the "Immortal 4th Platoon" who had become friends with Ikeda Ken. AEUG team slips away quietly and is not seen again in Side 3.(first campaign)

It is at this point in time that I have decided to run 3 campaigns during. It had the creation of some new characters, as I had new players, so here is the list of new characters. Lilith(Lily)

The first of the three was set one month after the original campaign. The Dublin has checked out of Anaheim after receiving a refit for the last month under the orders and supervision of Sukova Maria. All of the pilots except Masaki Ai have been transferred to Anaheim or have left the ship for personal reasons. The Dublin is carrying only 2 mobile suits as it comes close to a huge fight between Titan abd AEUG forces. Soon there are 20 Hizacks and GM II's closing in on the ship, and the Dublin and they send out a request for help. Four Rick-Dias happen to be within range and respond to the call. After the defeating the enemy mobile suits, only one of the Rick-Dias is damaged. The 4 pilots are Ensign Akebi, Ensign Terrance Nevell, Lt.(jg) Matt Becker, and Lt.(jg) Alexander Fairchild. They are reassigned to the Dublin and given orders to track down and destroy a secret Titan facility. As they arrive at their target colony, they receive word that Ensign Akebi Yuuki younger sister Izumi Yuuki has been sent to the colony and is to join the group as their communications/intelligence officer. The facility on the colony is supposedly making 20 Gundam Mk II, which have been redesigned with Gundarium-gamma armor and improved handling. The group sneaks into the colony which is housing the facility, and soon discover that is has made 30 Gundam Mk II's which is more than enough to defeat the AEUG force of 60 Rick-Dias which is en route. The team quickly returns to the Dublin, only to discover that a Titan force has shown up outside the colony as well, and has launched a remade Big Zam mobile armor. The team(now dubbed Ai-chan's Irregulars) hop into their Rick-Dias and fly inside the colony to deal with the Gundam's while the Dublin blasts it's concealment panels to reveal it's true refit, and heads out to fight the Titan force outside the colony. A small compliment of 16 Rick-Dias are able to help the Irregulars, and they manage to destroy 4 of the Gundam's before being wiped out. Of the remaining 26, 10 escape outside the colony trying to regroup with the Titan force outside, while the Irregulars deal with the remaining 16. They manage to destoy 8 of them before becoming so badly damaged that some cannot walk anymore due to haveing their legs blown off. It is then Ai-chan identifies herself to the remaining the 8, upon which 5 of them die being sliced by beam sabers from the other 3. One of the 3 look at Ai-chan's mech and says, "The Immortal 4th does not kill their friends. Get out of here Ai-chan, before we change that rule!" Ai-chan's Irregulars, left the colony to join the battle outside, and were the only force that could even injure the Big Zam. After concentrated firepower from their bazookas, which ignored the I-field generated by the Big Zam, they managed to destroy the huge Mobile Armor. When the operation is over, Ensign Nevelle is promoted to lieutenant-junior grade.

The second campaign was a short session(about a week after my first one) which involved Ai-chan, Victor Charlie, Alex Fairchild, and the Captain. Axis had been sneaking around a colony which Ai-chan and Victor Charlie had been slowly buying up and converting into their own private base for their own private army. Needless to say the Axis forces retreated with only 1 of their 3 ships, and were ranting and raving about aliens invading our solar sytem, before they were locked up for their own good.

The third campaign is two days after the second one and takes place on the moon. Izumi Yuuki, Ai-chan, and the Captain make a visit to Anaheim where they will be testing a new improved Rick-Dias. They arrive in time to meet the other two test pilots of the mission, Hideo Carson, and Ensign Hikaru. They also run into Sukova and her two newest pupils, Beth Miner and Lily. Beth and Lily are best friends with Izumi, and are soon filling her in on all the improvemets they have made to the Rick-Dias. The next day they begin testing on the suit, and find it performs perfectly. However, during the middle of testing, a Titan force attacks and trys to destroy the prototype suits. A huge battle ensues, and Ai-chan is severely injured when her suit takes a direct hit to the head, knocking her out. The Captain also takes some heavy damage before they manage to drive the Titans off, temporarily of course. They return to Anaheim testing base and rush Ai-chan to the infirmary. With all the prototypes damaged except one, and Titan's regrouping outside, Sukova issued a direct order to release the Zeta-Plus Gundam for combat. Hideo scrambles into it as the Captain climbs into a normal Rick-Dias that was piloted by Ai-chan from the Dublin. Hikaru stays in his prototype seeing's how it was the only one not damaged, and the three head out to deal with the reinforced Titan force. As they approach the Titan forces, they note a rather large addition to their force, a PsychoGundam! Hikaru and the captain began dealing with the mobile suits while Hideo dealt with the PsychoGundam. Hideo soon realized two things though, the PsychoGundam had an I-field, and the armor was so tough that bazooka rounds only dented the armor. Unsure of what to do, Hideo's concerns were soon put to rest as Sukova and a barely awake Ai-chan soon appeared in the ZZ-Gundam, in combined mecha mode. They close in on the PsychoGundam, beam sabers out and charged, when they take a hit from the PsychoGundam. The hit overloads the powerplant in the top piece of the suit, causing a popwerplant explosion in 30 seconds. They quickly decide to ram the PsychoGundam, and decombine, leaving the the top third impaled in the PsychoGundam, taking it with when it explodes. The expolsion was larger than anticipated however and the group loses sight of Ai-chan in the blast. When they blast clears, they see her mech floating along out of control through space. Hails to her suit go unanswered until the captain docks his Rick-Dias to her suit and gets inside hers, so he can wake her up.

Ah, there has been a fourth session, and it goes a little something like this, hit it!
Shortly after Ai-chan, Captain O'Hare and Izumi leave the Dublin, they are attacked by a group of 6 unknown mobile suits, except for their designation Bar-Zam. Ensign Akebi and Lt.(jg) Becker fly out in a pair of Rick-Dias and engage the enemy mobile suits. The two are succesful in destroying the suits, but Ensign Akebi suffered damage to her suit. The two return to the Dublin and are greeted by Lt.(jg) Fairchild, who hands Akebi an envelope, and leaves on patrol. The envelope contains notifications of Akebi's promotion to Lt.(jg) The ship returns to Anaheim the next day when it receives word of Anaheim testing grounds under attack from Titan forces. The ship arrives back shortly after the attack is repelled, and docks into the bay. In celebration of the recent promotion, Lt.(jg) Becker arranges for a HUGE EXTRAVAGENT party for Akebi(anybody else thinks he has the hots for her?). The party commences within an hour after docking, with an attendance of nearly 3,000 workers. The party raged through the night, the morning, the afternoon, AND the evening of the next day. Within an hour after the party was over, they fell under attack from a group of 4 Bar-Zam. Ensign Hikaru took out the last Rick-Dias Plus, and engaged the 4 mobile suits single handedly. Due to a critical error in the mobile suits thruster capacity, Hikaru overloaded the powerplant, causing the suit to self-destruct shortly after ejecting the pilot. Beth Miner was rather irrate at the destruction of the last prototype, and thus putting a hold on the remainder of the testing for the new mobile suit.

The rest of the timeline from here on is an alternate timeline created by Martin(Kami-sama) our original DM for Gundam. Hope you liked my way of doing things, ja ne.
0088-In the final battle of Zeta Gundam, Axis takes heavy losses and Haman Kahn is killed while in battle with Char Aznable. Char is presumed dead but no body is recovered. With the Axis forces weaker than in the original Z Gundam, and the main leader dead, the Jion civil war of ZZ Gundam never happens. Anaheim's most current mech designs are put on hold and never built(S-Gundam, FA-ZZ Gundam, MSZ-006C1 Zeta Plus)

0088/9-Things cool off between the EFM and Axis. Several of the key powerheads within Axis die for mysterious reasons. With the weak forces and lacking experienced people to run the forces, Axis disbands and dissolves.

0091-Mineba Zabi(last living Zabi) says that Side 3 is declaring independance and re-establishing the Jion Duchy. The next day, the Jupiter Energy Fleet arrives in planetary orbit and announces that it is siding with the Jion Duchy, and will give none of its' current supply of Helium-3 to the Federation. EFG/M leaders convene and discover that only half the fleet is launchable on current reserves. A young admiral by the name of Harrigan steps forward and porposes to build a "silver bullet" team of the most advanced Gundams available and put them on a brand new super-battleship. S-Gundam, FA-ZZ, Zeta-Plus are upgraded to current tech levels and produced. 1 S-Gundam, 2 FA-ZZ, 4 Zeta-Plus with S-Gundam booster packs are built. The ship is called the Crystal Palace and is the first ship with an I-field generator on it. Pilots and crew are handpicked by Bright Noah, who is in command of the ship. The mission for these "silver bullets" is to destroy enough Jion forces that would give the EFM a 3 to 1 ratio over Jion Mobile suits, the catch is without starting a war between the EFM and Jion.

The unfolding of Gundam 0091: Dreams and Legacies on a day by day basis.(I apologize for the mispellings that you will occur, the GM is not here as I write this so I cannot confirm any of the spellings.

Aug. 28, 0091-EFM's new battleship the Crystal Palace collects it's mobile suits pilots and engages in it's first battle. Hideo Carson's Zeta-Plus is damaged and he is recalled back to Anaheim.

Aug. 29,0091-Sakova Maria arrives to replace Hideo Carson while the Crystal Palace lands at Von Braun. Lt. Ai, Lt. Tal, Sakova, and VC join Admiral Harrigan and meet with Maximilian Berezar, Regent of the Jion Duchy, and Beryl Azraim, commander-in- chief of the Jupiter Energy Fleet(JEF). The meeting between them uncovers a possible third side to the current situation, known only as ISD.

Aug. 31, 0091-A transport carrying Federation diplomats on a peacekeeping mission is destroyed by a squadron of Zaku-III. The Federation pubically declares war on the Jion Duchy. Crystal Palace attacks a transport carrying a dozen new mobile suits for JEF forces, which is being escorted by Jion ships and mobile suits. The entire convoy is destroyed.

Sept. 2, 0091-The EFM manages to catch a portion of the JEF in a trap, while Jion launches an attack on Luna-2. Luna-2 is saved at the last minute by the arrival of the Crystal Palace as back-up.

Sept. 4, 0091-Crystal Palace is given a mission to steal some fuel tanks from a JEF fuel depot. In the middle of the mission, JEF springs a trap on them and the Gundams find themselves drastically outnumbered and surrounded. Ensign Yoshida is killed in action as he saves Ensign Ikeda from being killed by Beryl Azraim. The Crystal Palace then arrives to save the Gundam team(which is heavily damaged by this point). The Crytal Palace heads to La Vienne Rose and docks. The Gundams are taken aboard as the pilots head to the moon. Once again Lt. Ai, Lt. Tal, Sakova, and VC visit Berezar. In the meeting, Berezar reveals that Tal is actually Carovel Rem Daikun, yonger brother to Cassoval Rem Daikun(aka Char Aznable), and twin to Artesia Daikun(Sara-mas from original Gundam). Berezar then proposes that the Gundam team assist the Jion Duchy by killing it's "more unfavorable elements"(aka Beryl Azraim), and then join Jion in a non-violent war against the EFG/M.

Sept. 7, 0091-The repairs to the Gundam's are complete and some "refits" are incorporated into them. In addition, Meiko(Neiko's twin sister) joins the team flying the refitted Gundam-Z. The Crystal Palace receives a transmission from the EFM outlining their new plan "Operation Nova".

Sept. 8, 0091-Operation Nova commences with the Crystal Palace leading 1/4 the EFM fleet against JEF, while the remaining 3/4 attacks the Jion HQ at Axis. The Crystal Palace is successful in it's part, Beryl Azraim being killed by a joint attack between Lt. Tal and Ensign Ikeda. The fleet attacking Axis however is defeated when two mobile armors and about 40 mini-mobile armors appear put of nowhere and destroy the 3rd Battle Line in a matter of minutes. The remaining two battle lines retreat, and "Operation Nova" is deemed a failure.

Sept. 9, 0091-ALL the pilots are invited to Axis and asked once again to join Axis now that Azraim is dead. Proposition is put on hold again when the Crystal Palace is requested at Konpei Island(Soloman). When they arrive, only Lt. Tal and Ensign Ikeda are allowed into Konpei. While in there, they meet Commander Petyakov, who lays out for them "Operation SuperNova". This plan calls for the two new PsychoGundam Mk. III (GM creation) to be used to counter the two Jion mobile armors. The pilots of the PsychoGundams's turn out to be two 15 year old boys, both of which are Newtypes.

Sept. 10, 0091-"Operation SuperNova" launches. EFM forces deploy the PsychoGundam's, which are soon supported by 15 new ships, each with an I-field generator onboard. Each of the 15 ships also launches 6 RGZ-91, the ships then begins firing missile salvos at Axis and Side 3. It is soon discovered that the missiles have nuclear warheads, and must be destroyed at all costs. The 15 ships identify themselves as ISD(Internal Security Division of the EFM) and announce their intentions to destroy Jion once and for all. When the nukes are identified, 2/3 of the EFM disengages and declares neutrality. The remaining 1/3 rushes forward and assists Jion against the ISD. During the course of the battle, both PsychoGundam's and both the Jion mobile armors are detroyed or rendered inoperable. Ensign Ikeda is killed in combat by Commander Petyakov, who is piloting a suit which resembles the Hi-Nu Gundam(minus the funnels, and check your Newtype ordering catalog, Fall 96, I believe for a picture of it). His death is avenged as Lt. Tal and Berezar join together and take him on. With the ISD ships and PsychoGundams destoyed, the handfull of RGZ-91's retreat. "Operation SuperNova" failed and Jion emerged victorius. Most of the pilots take up Berezar on his offer and join Axis, or agree to lend assistance if the need should ever arise.

Where they are now(wouldn't you like to know).

The GM has rumored about the possibility of a third campaign, twelve years after the second one. Unfortunately, both Ai-chan and Sakova would be in their early forties and either happily married or a succesful business woman. Plus the GM would perfer that the pilots be newtypes, which I as a player do not like(see Takayama Nabiki for opinion on ESPer ie. Newtype) However I will tell you what happened to the characters in the intervening years. Well at least some of the characters. Ai-chan is running a successful charter service called Ikeda's Delivery Service and has 32 ships ranging from passenger liners to cargo transports. She is considered somewhat of a "legendary" person considering she has taken very active roles in two large and devastating wars. She was also a Gundam pilot in the latter one, thus giving her more publicity and fame then most people. Maria Sukova had begun dating Berezar during the operation, and the two are now happily married. As to wether or not they will have kids, is up to the GM. Tal met one of Ai-chan's friends from when she was younger, and the two started dating. It was later revealed that she was a Mobile Armor pilot for Jion(hey that's Gundam for you), but her armor was only rendered inoperable(whew). The two of them are happily married and raising her nine year old daughter Nevi. The Fujiwara twins are both part- time employess of Ikeda's Delivery Service and are also either married or dating. Neiko is with one of Berezar's private security guards while Meiko is dating the other Jion Mobile Armor pilot. Victor Charlie, well, if I told you, HE'D have to kill you. Besides that though he's still going aftter Ai-chan, and still being turned down(tough luck VC). Ikeda Ken is in the afterlife with Yoshida(his best friend by the way) tossing back beers and making jokes at the rest of who are still alive. And as for Hideo Carson(Hentai Hideo that is), well he had a fiance at the beginning of the campaign who was, well think what Presea likes to do to Mokona and you have their relationship(kina kinky in other words).

Pretty much Ai-chan and VC are the only two who didn't end up happily ever after(kinda sad ain't it). But don't worry about it to much, Ai-chan is not the type of girl who will sleep with anybody(heck she still hasn't, ahh I think I'll stop now before I say something I'll regret). And as for VC, somethings get better with age, and since he's already in his forties, there's probably some nice little toaster, er I mean hostess out there for him somewhere. Until the next campaign, ja ne.
