I was reading some Gundam Wing fanfiction yesterday, and was laughing at Heero singing kareoke at a strip club (or maybe I was crying because Quatre died and Trowa was left to cross the barren desert alone. Something like that.) And I thought, why can't these things actually happen in the show? Give me one good reason why Wufei WOULDN'T agree to play strip volleyball. Out of character? Make it IN character. This led me to the Creation of the Perfect Anime Project, which I plan to continue until such an anime comes into existance.

First step: Prioritize.

I'd like the perfect anime to focous on a yaoi couple (who are nice, sexy, friendly, have good hair, are not offensively femenine (i.e. using stereotypes) but effemenate enough that they'd wear designer shoes sometimes and bite their lip cutely when they're waiting for the bus and buy creampuffs for each other, etc.

Other than that, the elements just fit into place. I'd like a little bit of mecca action (just because Gundam Wing is cool like that)MUCHOS comedy (when appriopriate), creative script, with the every-day closeness of Marmalade Boy (but skip the 9th-grade soap opera dramatics, please.), the animation quality of such anime as Heroic Legend of Arislan (exclusing parts 3, 4, and 5) and Fushigi Yuugi (excluding Nakago), the fan consideration of Yu Yu Hakusho (such gifts as "Meet the Voice Actors" and little referances to the magazine which published them are common)and the willingness to cross the line of social conduct found in the American comedy, Ally McBeal.

Next Step: Choose a name.

Why is this the next step? I don't know. Probably because I'll forget what it is if I don't write it down.

I was thinking something along the lines of The Heroic Legend of Gundam Slayearthian FushYuYu McBoy

But whatever works for you is fine, too.

The third step is to get it drawn, and eventually scripted and accepted by a major publishing company in Japan.

But this I leave to you, the masses. I cannot draw (other than stick figures) and my fanfiction abilities have not been tested for a great deal of time. I'll be waiting for the results
