Heaven | |||||||
Around 700 b.c, the prophet Isaiah prophesied saying "Behold, I(God) will create a new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remebered, nor will they come to mind. (Isaiah 65:17). And again in chapters 66:22 As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me, declares the Lord, so will your name and descendants endure." Therefore, according to these scriptures, in the Old Testament, It was known before Jesus Christ died to cleanse and purify all things and to give us remission of our sins, that the old Heaven, and the old Earth would be purified also. Hebrews 9:22 "In fact the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and with out the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. It was neccessary, then, for the (earthly) copies of Heavenly things themselves to be purified with these sacrafices, but the Heavenly things with better things than these." (NIV) Therefor, if it be cleansed with better sacrafices, then it must be passed away to be purified and created again. In 2 Peter 3:7-13 it shows how the heavens were purified and how the earth will be purified. Read those scriptures before reading on here. And to further prove these prophecies, Revelation, which was written to tell us about what is going to happen during the end of time, before the end of time, during the end times. In Revelation 21:1-2 it says "Then I saw a new sky(heaven) and a new earth, for the former sky(heaven) and the former earth HAD passed away(vanished), and there no longer existed any sea. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, all arrayed like a bride beautified and adorned for her husband." Here John says he saw the new heaven which HAD passed away, and a new earth which HAD passed away so the heavens were purified already, and the new earth was purified but hadnt come from heaven yet, as verse 2 states saying that it began to descend from the new heaven. |

Hell | |||||||
Most Churches would teach that Hell is a place where you suffer all eternity by burning in "the lake of burning sulfur." These Churches say that our God, who is a God of love and peace and forgiveness, will let the people, who He loves suffer forever and ever. But this is not our belief. Also, if our God sends people to be tormented for forever, wouldn't that totally destroy the basis Christianity was founded upon, which is faith, hope, love, and purity? We believe that the unrighteous people, who did not repent for sins on earth, didnt accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, didnt believe in God, etc. do goto "Hell". But Hell is not a place where you burn for forever. Why would God allow a person He loves so dearly to suffer for forever. That would'nt be love, would it? No! 1.) We believe that there are two deaths. There is a Physical (earthly) death, and a Spiritual death. The Spiritual death is where the persons soul ceases to exist 2.) We believe that "The wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23 3.) We believe that Hell is the name, and realm for dead spirits(souls) 4.) We believe that the second death spoken of in Revelation is the Spiritual death 5.) We believe that the end of all sin and evil doings is death. 6.) We believe that the Lake of Fire is where Satan and his fallen angels exist. 7.) To be eternally seperated from God is Hell. 1 John 3:14 - "We know that we have passed over from into Life, by the fact that we lovee the brethren(our fellow Christians). He who does not love abides (remains in, held and kept continually) in [spiritual] death." *here it says kept in spiritual death continually, not kept in hell burning continually* Psalm 37:20 - " But the wicked will perish: The Lords enemies will be like the beauty of the fields, they will vanish--vanish like smoke. James 1:15 - "Then the evil desire, when it has concieved, gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is fully matured, brings forth death." *not brings forth Eternal fire and suffering* Some other verses to back our belief Romans 6:23 Romans 6:21 John 5:24 John 8:51 Jeremiah 8:3 Psalm 6:5 If you have any questions on this.
