This page is a tribute to our daughter, Tricia,
we lost in an auto accident in May 1979. Her three
children, ages five, three and two, were in the car
with her and did survive. Her accident was almost
identical as the one in which her father was killed
in 1960. The same month, same day, same kind of
bridge. She was only three years old when her
father died. She was her Daddy's little Princess, as
he called her. It was very heartbreaking.......

Tricia was our second child and the first
granddaughter on both sides. As a small child she
enjoyed playing with dolls, having tea parties with
her two brothers and sister. And, of course playing
with the boys' toys as well. I was a little over
protective as a parent and usually liked the kids to
to have friends over instead of them going to
someone else's house, so Tricia would forget to tell
me, if after school, she wanted to go to a friends
house instead of coming home on the bus. She
was in second and third grade during this period.
I would have to go look to her, always found her.
But it was still scary. Finally got her past that...

She loved school and her teachers always said
she had a million dollar smile. Some of her fun
enjoyments while she was young was having ballet
classes and swim lessons. Her ballet teacher said
she was the best student she had ever had. She
could also play the piano or organ by ear.

Tricia married and had three children while
very young. She loved taking care of her family
and having her brothers and sisters over for week-
ends. I re-married when she was ten years old and
this gave her another brother and three more sisters,
then when she was twelve we had a son, so she had
lots of siblings to visit her. She felt especially close
to the baby of the family, as did two of her younger
sisters. Guess they felt like little mothers to him.
Tricia also worked during this time. She worked in
care centers for the elderly and really enjoyed caring
for older people. She enjoyed disco music and, of
course, disco dancing.

Tricia was a beautiful, loving, generous girl.
She was a loving wife, mother and daughter. She
left behind her husband Rusty, three children
Stacey, Melissa and Nick, parents Pat and Les,
three sets of grandparents, four brothers, four
sisters, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Preceding her in death was her father, Richard.
Tricia loved all her family and her family loves and
misses her so very much........

Tricia also loved watching Elvis movies and listening
to his music. She was devastated when he died, so
here is ELVIS! And a few of his songs.

Those we love are with the Lord, and the
Lord has promised to be with us.
If they are with Him, and He is with us,
They cannot be very far away.
