Listed are the basic steps to a drink serve, showing only the steps involved. You must use your imagination, and insert your own personality into making your serve distinctive and pleasing.

1. Offering to Serve
   
   ~~commonly female slaves kneel nadu before a Master and tower before a Mistress (vice versa for kajirus); after kneeling, all slaves BEG to serve by asking "please may this girl serve You, Master" or "this girl begs to serve You, Master" or a similar variation; "can I get You anything", "how may this girl serve You", and "do You wish anything" is not acceptable, instead a girl should act as if her life depends on that very serve as in some cases, it may~~
   
   QUOTE: "It is common for a slave to kneel before free men in serving them drink. In a common expressing such as 'Wine, Master?' the slave usually offers the master not only drink, the wine in the cup in this instance, but the wine of her love, body, and beauty." Dancer of Gor page 325.
   
   NOTE: If a slave offers to serve with no response, wait perhaps 3-5 minutes then respectfully offer again. If there is still no response, state that you realize the Free is busy and crawl back to tend to other duties. Do not simply sit there for an hour waiting on the Free to reply and do not show impatience.
   
   
2. Move to Servery
   
   ~~rise from the furs and back away three paces if a slave is before a Free, otherwise, move from the serving furs to the servery~~

3. Choosing and Checking Vessel
   
   ~~find the correct vessel specified for the drink (see the drink page for clarity) and check it carefully for imperfections; do not test on the wrist or throat unless you are serving your Master, as your life is not your own and should only be offered freely to the Owner~~
   
   
4. Cleaning Vessel
   
   ~~wipe the vessel clean; rep cloth is plentiful in the servery and there is no need to use your silks or your hair unless you so choose~~

5. Returning
   
   ~~~~after choosing the correct vessel and drink a slave returns to the Feet of the Free..kneeling once more in proper position~~
   
   
6. Pouring
   
   ~~most drinks were poured in the servery during a general serve, however, it is found much more pleasing for bottled drinks to be poured at the foot of the Free..this allows creativity and extra pleasure for the Free~~

7. Sweetening
   
   ~~the books hold no record of a slave actually sweetening the drinks, however, this has been a ritual in serving online; pleasure slaves do sweeten the drinks of Masters without permission... but most will ask a Master if He wishes His drink to be sweeten, keep in mind some Masters only wish their drinks to be sweeten with Their own slave's honey and not others; the drinks of Mistresses are never sweetened as it is disrespectful to show heat to a FW; the drink can be sweetened in a variety of ways and a slave needs to find her own unique description of this ritual; in addition, the act of sweetening the vessel may take place at any time during the serve, but is listed here as this is the most common time~~
   
   
8. Hold Drink to Belly
   
   ~~hold the drink at your belly, showing a slave's fire to serve and then heart for three beats showing devotion and love~~

   "'Now take the goblet,' he said, 'and hold the metal against your body pushing inward,' I took the goblet and held it, tightly to my body. I held the round, heavy metal against me, below my brassiere. 'Lower,' he said, 'against your belly.' I then held the goblet lower. 'Press it more inward,' he said. I did so." Fighting Slave of Gor page 19.
   
   
9. Tasting
   
   ~~never touch your lips to the vessel's rim; allow a single drop to fall on tongue, dip a finger in the wine, drink from a separate bowl or use your own creativity; unless specified, always test without asking because it adds to the beauty of the serve~~
   
   QUOTE: "'Drink,' he said, offering me the cup. I looked at the rim of the cup. I shook with terror. 'A slave girl dares not touch with her lips the rim of that cup which ahs been touched with the lips of her master,' I whispered. 'Excellent,' said Verna. 'She was trained in the pens of Ko-ro-ba,' said Rask of Treve. He then, from his own cup, poured some wine into a small bowl, which he handed to me. 'Thank you, master,' I breathed." 10. Slave Kiss
    
    ~~always kiss the belly of the vessel, never rim; when offering, turn so the kiss faces away from the Free~~
    
    QUOTE: "Trembling, I extended the goblet to him. He did not take it. I shrank back, confused. I did not know what to do. I realized then that I had , in my confusion and distress, forgotten to place my lips upon the goblet in subservience. I quickly pressed my lips to the goblet, kissing it. Then, suddenly, as I was to hand it to him, I boldly, again, lifted the goblet's side to my lips. Holding it in both hands, I kissed it again, lovingly, delicately, fully, lingering, my eyes closed. I had never kissed a boy on Earth with the helplessness and passion that I bestowed upon the mere goblet of my Gorean captor. I belonged to him. I was him. I loved him! I felt the metal of the cup beneath my full, pressing lips." Slave Girl of Gor pages 68-9.
    
    "One of the men lifted his cup and I hurried to him. I took the cup and filled it... then I pressed my lips to his cup as I must, as a slave girl, and handed it to him." Slave Girl of Gor page 89.
    
    "'Now," said he, 'lift the goblet to your lips and kiss it lingeringly.'" Fighting Slave of Gor page 19.
    
    
11. Offering
    
    ~~extend her arms and lower her head between them, offering the vessel~~
    
    QUOTE: "Then again kneeling back on her heels, her knees wide, extending her arms to me, the cup in her hands, she proffered me the drink. 'Your head should be down, between your arms,' I said. She put her head down. Again I saw a small movement in her body, a tremor, subtle. She had put her head down before a man. Another consequence of this position is that the girl's eyes, in the specific act of her serving, do not meet those of the Master. They are lowered before his, as one who submits. This is reminiscent, in an experienced girl, of her training." Explorers of Gor page 161.
    
    
12. Verbally Offer Drink
    
    ~~offer the drink once more and beg to offer further service; further service is not exclusive to furs only, but massages, shining boots, dancing, conversation, etc~~

There were many actually, and they tended to vary from tavern to tavern, and from city to city. There was, really, no standardization for such matters. She trembled, head down, proffering me the paga. 'Your girl brings you drink, Master,' she said. 'Any others?' I asked. 'Here is your drink, Master, she said. ' I beg to serve you further in any way I may.' 'Another,' I said sharply. 'Do not forget I come with the price of the cup,' she said. 'Use me as you will, Master.' 'Personalized phrase,' I said. 'Evelyn tenders drink humbly to Master.' she said. 'Evelyn hopes Master will later find her suitable to give him pleasure.' 'Another,' I said. 'I am Evelyn,' she said. 'I serve you, naked and collared. Take me later to the alcove. I beg to be taught my slavery.'" Explorers of Gor page 161.
    
    
13. Excused
    
    ~~do not leave to serve Another until dismissed; even if the Free requires nothing else, ask to be dismissed; if the Free has not replied and seems to be ghosting or busy do not become impatient or post that your arms are growing heavy, wait perhaps 5 mins before making a cheerful post to remind the Free that you are holding the drink.. after five more minutes ask another Free if you may excused from the serve because the Person seems to be preoccupied~~

Tips for Serving

• Be consistent:- if you are serving in a goblet, do not call it a bowl.
• If you are unsure always ask the preference:- first or second slave blackwyne?; warm or chilled? etc
• Do NOT talk to A/any but the Master you are serving until you have been excused.
• The Ubar has declared that all Palace and His chain kajirae are allowed to serve in nadu to both Masters and Mistresses. However, it is respectful to serve a Mistress in tower unless she desires to be served in nadu.
• Do not offer "further service" unless you are prepared for what may be requested. Choose words wisely -- offer to "bring anything else" or specifically offer to dance or another type of service
• Feel free to pm a trainer if you need help during the serve.
• Always leave your chores or conversations to offer to serve entering Free.
• Do not offer to serve a Master or Mistress who is already being served.
• Never think serving is limited by furring and drinks/foods. If a Free has posted a series of questions to a slave, it constitutes as a serve and the slave must be dismissed before attending other duties.
  
• The training kajira and kajirus
  
  • a ~ws~ level kajira will serve in tower she does not make any sexual reference to her body parts. her serves are modestly done she never describes heat in her serves or sweetens a Master's drink, after serving her wrists will be placed palms down on her lap
    
  • a ~G~ level kajira will serve in nadu, her palms will fall upon her spread thighs palms down after serving since she is not sexually available. she is to keep in mind to describe moderately not heated, she can refer to her nipples and inner thighs but only in general terms, she will not bring any reference to her heat, hidden treasure etc. she can be a slight tease in her movements but still must keep in mind that she is not to make herself available sexually ..... only giving a you can look but you can't touch message.
    
  • a ~ws~ and ~G~ level kajirus will always serve in tower. he will not make any sexual enticing reference to himself, his hands are always placed palm down on his lap
