Ich wollte Euch nur sagen, dass ich es toll finde, dass ihr mit 7-8 Jahren schon Zugang zum Internet habt ! Als ich in eurem Alter war (vor ca 15 Jahren) gab es das Internet noch gar nicht und als ich endlich einen Zugang bekam, wusste ich lange nicht wie es funktioniert.

Gruesse an den Surfkurs Seiersberg!
Ich bin fast Opa :-) (schon 27) und seit neuestem Referendar an der Freiherr-
vom-Stein-Schule in Fulda (Biologie und Erdkunde). Ach so, nennt Ihr in
Oesterreich die (jungen) Lehrer, die gerade erst anfangen, auch
"Referendare"? Am Donnerstag halte ich meine erste Stunde und bin noch
nicht aufgeregt, noch nicht! Es ist eine neunte Klasse und das Thema ist
irgendwas mit Zitrusfruechteanbau in den USA, wie aufregend ;-) ! Mal
sehen. Seid Ihr wirklich aus einer 2. Klasse? Das nenne ich gut, in dem
Alter schon das Surfen zu lernen! Ich habe es gerade erst gelernt, aber
ich falle noch dauernd ins Wasser. Aber wie man eMails verschickt, weiss
ich endlich. So schwer isses ja nich.

Ich war gerade mal neugierig, wo Seiersberg ueberhaupt liegt, und das
einzige, was ich gefunden habe, ist bei Graz! Isses das? Wow! Ganz schoen
weit weg, wenn es stimmt. Ist Surfen in den Alpen nicht sauschwer? Fulda
liegt uebrigens in Hessen, 100 km oestlich von Frankfurt/Main. Hier gibt
es fuer deutsche Verhaeltnisse richtig hohe Berge; die Wasserkuppe in der
Rhoen ist 958 m hoch! Immerhin hoeher als so manches Tal bei Euch, oder?

Ein bissel Schnee gabs hier auch schon dieses Jahr, zwei Meter! Aber
leider nur in der Breite... ;-)

Dann wuensche ich euch noch eine ganze Festplatte voller eMails und sage
tschuess.

Gibt es an Eurer Schule schon einen Computer mit Internetzugang?

Mein Junior geht auch in Seiersberg zur Schule. Findet heraus wie er mit
Vornamen heißt und in welche Klasse er geht.Er kann euch dann über Thomas
Brezina im Internet berichten.

Is' ja was ganz neues, dass jetzt schon 2. Klassen hier im DSN rumhaengen.
Laeuft bei Euch an der Schule so eine Art Projekt, wie "Grundschulen ans Netz"
oder "PC's in Grundschulen" ????
Uebrigens gibt's dazu ein paar recht anschauliche Mails im Bereich Allgemeines
aus dem Schulnetz.
Auch ja, wo liegt eigendlich Seiersberg??

Ich finde es toll, das sich schon die Schueler und Schuelerinnen in der
zweiten Klasse sich mit diesem Weg der Kommunikation auseinander setzen.
Wenn Ihr wollt, koennt Ihr Euch in meine Datenbank eintragen lassen, ich
habe zur Zeit ein Projekt in der Schule, umdem es sich um die vernetzung
von Schuelern handelt, das heisst, mein Freund und ich, moechten eine
Datenbank mit allen Schueler die Zugang zum Internet, Chatraemen,
Mailboxen und eMAIL habe. Ich wuerde mich sehr freuen, wenn ich auch eine
zweite Klasse in der Datenbank haette, somit seit Ihr die Juengsten in
dieser Liste.

...Eure Seiten sind ganz toll gestaltet; vielleicht koennen wir etwas in Kontakt bleiben und manche Gedanken, Erfahrungen, etc. austauschen. Waer doch ganz toll, was meint ihr?

Wir starten demnaechst ein Projekt im Rahmen der "Comenius-Aktion" (Lernen fuer Europa) wo wir mit zwei Partnerschulen in Deutschland und England zusammenarbeiten. Die Vorbereitung hiezu gibt natuerlich auch sehr viel Arbeit.

Hello Seiersberg Elementary School,

Do you want to take part in a collaborative collage aimed at young children?

The attachment is a copy of the stimulus for the co-operative collage, a painting by Kandinsky called 'Squares with Concentric Circles' I have assigned two classes to the project, my own Reception class RJ (4-5yr olds) and a Year 1 class, 1Y (5-6year olds, class teacher Miss Young) :)

Children in Reception have already created their own paintings in the style of Kandinsky’s. See other attached file. Of course you may develop the activity any way you wish but the final outcome needs to be on a square of paper about 20cm by 20cm

Any paintings that can be scanned and sent to me before next Monday (The earlier the better!) will be published on an Online newspaper on the Internet next Tuesday .The Birmingham Post and Mail are also going to produce a hard copy special addition newspaper carrying details of our schools and the project. I can snail mail copies to your school. I know it's short notice but it would be great if we could get this off the ground, really demonstrating the immediacy of electronic communication/collaboration.

In the medium term (oct end) I will incorporate all of the childrens work into our school web site. www.abc-project.org.uk/princealb

I will see If I can get class photo's to send to their respective partners, maybe snail mail them.

This project is only intended to be a 'quickie', but I'm open to suggestions regarding future links with you school :)

The pupils of class 4b (apr. 10 years old) at Torsted School, Denmark, 
Europe, have been learning about stones.
Now we shall try to make a collection of stones coming from different 
parts of the world.

We would like you to ask some pupils at the same age as class 4b to help 
us in the following way:
Pick up one or two stones (not too big!), that can be found in your 
territory - stones that the pupils think are beautiful or special
for the territory.
Write a little letter telling the name of the stone, maybe a legend or 
historical facts about the stone and its origin.
Remember to write the name of the school and the class in the letter.

The stones will be exhibited at our school and on our homepage on the 
Internet.
If the pupils at your school want to make a stone collection too, you can 
contact the other schools in the project by E-mail.

We hope that you will help us establish the collection, and we shall very 
much appreciate, if you will E-mail us a quick answer, telling whether 
your school wants to participate or not.

Ich moechte Euch alle aus dem kalten Canada gruessen.
Mein Name ist Remo, bin 23 und ich arbeite in meinem eigenen Restaurant in
Prince George, B.C. Canada.
Ich koennt ja mal Prince George auf der Landkarte suchen und sehen wo ich
wohne.
Mit dem Flugzeug ist es nur 1 Stunde bis Alaska entfernt.
Weihnachten wird hier etwas anders gefeiert.
Am 25.12. morgens werden alle Geschenke aufgemacht und die Familien sitzen
zusammen.
Wir haben zur Zeit 20 cm Schnee und es wird jeden Tag die grosse Kealte
erwartet.
Bis zu -48 Celsius werden es.

mountains,deep valley.  There are 27 students in all six grades. We 
have English class in our cariculum from this year. American english

times a month.And they are looking forward to her

them are used to

Hello!
I'm so sorry that it's taken me lots time to write.
Actually we had so many jobs for about six months from April to 
September,Basketball games, Athletic games, canoe, etc. , School 
Festival - Warabe Matsuri.
Most of all important events are involved  in that six months.
Moreover, exchanging E-mail had started only from last year in our 
school.
So we couldn't be standing at doing it in first period - from April to 
July.
Now we are going to start to exchange E-mail again, as following - a 
few sentences with pictures of children and town.
Looking around out of a window now, many mountains are colored and 
becoming beautiful gradually.

Es ist erfrischend ein froehliches Bild von der dritten 

Klasse zu sehen. Ich bin in Wildon zur Volksschule gegangen 
und in 1951 ausgewandert nach Kanada. Zur Zeit arbeite in ich 
in den Vereinigten Staaten. Es bringt mir zurueck 
Erinnerungen von
meinen Schuljahren in der Steiermark. Ich wuensche der dritten
