We have men with long hair like women, and women with short hair like men. I was in line at a bank once when the teller said to the person in front of me, "The next window is open ma'am." So happens she was talking to a man! Boy was she embarrassed! We have bi-sexual apparel, bi- sexual people, homosexual people, transsexual people. We have cross dressing men, and undressing women. We have men that cohabit with men, and women with women. We even have women wanting to marry women, and men wanting to marry men and men and women who want to marry nobody, but just live together (we have about 3 million doing that). We have women that wear neckties and baseballs caps, and men that wear women's clothes and women's jewelry. We have men who spend thousands of dollars to be supposedly turned into women. What are they when they are finished. "Cousin it's?" We have men who wear earrings, sometimes a half dozen or so. We have people who wear rings in their noses, rings in their navels, rings in their eyebrows, rings in their lips, rings in their tongues, and I am told rings on parts of their anatomy I won't mention. One wonders if all this is not caused because they have a ring in their brains.
'We have women in public places wearing less clothes then they wear in bed. In fact a doctor once told a female patient to go home, put on some clothes and go to bed. A TV announcer was announcing the entrance of prominent women to a big social event, and said, "There is. . . in her gownless evening strap." Which wouldn't cover a whole lot more than if he had put it the other way. We have men on the streets and in public places in shorts, stripped to the waist, and barefoot. We have mini-skirts, and split skirts and no skirts! We have men who cat in restaurants with their hats on. We have people who think the slouchier the better; boys wear pants that are 3 or 4 sizes too big for them with several inches of the legs flopped around their ankles and dragging the ground and frayed at the cuffs, and the seat at their knees hanging half way off their hips with a part of their anatomy showing which nobody cares to see. A person told me the other day of a boy who was seated in front of him and when he arose, he pulled his pants down instead of up! He pulls his pants up to sit down, and down to stand up? Man, I am confused! We have girls who look like tramps, and dress like test pilots in a broom factory with hair that looks like a stump full of granddaddy spiders, and enough cosmetics to paint a barn.
We have disposable spouses, disposable children, and disposable diapers that get disposed on the highway and on parking lots when garbage cans are near by.
We have a society that goes all out to save dolphins, wolves and snail darters, but murders millions of unborn babies every year. We have school children giving birth to, babies, and governors who wan to put prenatal departments and nurseries in high schools to teach pregnant unwed school children how to be good mothers, some of whom graduate without the ability to look up a telephone number, or fill out an application for a job or public welfare.
We have leaders that endorse, promote and participate in immoral conduct with determined efforts to make it public policy.
We have leaders who veto laws that would ban killing babies while they are being born. We have a society that is ever so close to the killing of old people who are no longer productive (Shades of Nazism. In some respects we have out Hitlered Hitler). We have a judicial system that favors the criminal more than his victim and which turns murderers, rapists, and child molesters back on the streets knowing they will repeat their crimes at the first opportunity, and it outlaws the displaying of the ten commandments at the court house. I recently heard a person say the ten commandments are too narrow! A newspaper editor once printed the ten commandments in his column, and received a nasty letter from a reader who said they were too personal! We have a game called trivial pursuit, and a society that thrives on trivial lawsuits. A burglar sued a home owner because he fell on the stairs and broke his leg while burglarizing his house - he won! A prisoner sued the county because he told them that if they put him on a work crew he would escape. They put him on a work crew; He escaped, was recaptured, and sued the county for not listening to him. He won!
We have a society that smiles on and even encourages fornication, schools that furnish birth control, but suspend a first-grade boy for kissing a little girl on the cheek. Please!!!! Give me a break!
We have a society that talks openly about things in public that once were never mentioned in mixed company; and, you guessed it, while I am trying to have dinner! We have grammar-school kids that know more about the "birds and the bees" than about "ABC's." We have teachers and day care centers who molest little children instead of teaching them.
We have governors who are suing tobacco companies to recover hundreds of millions of dollars of tax money spent on Medicaid on people whose health was destroyed by their products, yet the State of Florida has 600 million dollars worth of stock in tobacco companies! The federal government carries on an expensive campaign to keep people from using tobacco while it pays farmers to raise it.
So we pay farmers to raise tobacco, spend millions of dollars to keep people from using it, and profit from holding stock in the companies that produce it. Say it isn't so! By the same token, the government licenses the sale of alcohol, tries to get people not to use it while driving, and punishes those who commit crimes while under its influence. Say it isn't so!
We have church members who say they are in fellowship who have little or no fellowship. We have members who are on the roll, but they are always on the roll (gone or absent). We see preachers that don't preach, elders that don't elder, deacons that don't "deak," members that don't "memb," and churches that don't "church" (They are more like a YMCA).
What can we do about all this? We have before us a difficult task. Did you ever try to unscramble eggs? How can our children and grandchildren - how can any of us - survive in this cesspool of sin and corruption? Consider carefully and prayerfully the following scriptures:
Psalms II: 3: "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? (A very good question).
Psalms 9:17: "The wicked shall be turned into hell, [and] all the nations that forget God. (That includes the USofA!)
Proverbs 29:2: "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn! (Reader, it's time to mourn!)
Philippians 2:15: "That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world. (If darkness stands for evil, then we are in a dark cellar at midnight!)
1 John 2:15 Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
Ephesians 6:4: "And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord." (Fathers, this is addressed to you, not your wife!)
I Timothy 2:9: "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array." (Sisters, look in the mirror!)
Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." (If we surrender, we are dead. When the going gets tough, the tough get going!).
Psalms 11 8:6: "The LORD [is] on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?"
Isaiah 4 1: 1 0: "Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
Hebrews 13:6: "So that we may boldly say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me."
Read carefully I Cor. 11:2-16 and learn well that God does not want men to dress like women or women to dress like men. The distinction between the sexes; that has always been His rule, and He hasn't changed one little bit for our time. Each should gladly remain in their God- given roles, for only then can they glorify God.
