The structure of a clarinet is a long tube with a mouthpiece on one end and a bell-shaped opening on the bottom end. Most clarinets are made of wood. Tone holes run down the clarinet in a vertical row. Besides these holes, there are also holes that are covered with metal rings. These are called keys.
