Band Info
Brass Band Midden-Brabant was honoured to participate in a concert celebrating the 175th birthday of the Buffet Crampon Company (member of the 'Boosey and Hawkes' group) at the 'Cirque d'Hiver' in Paris, France.
Other artists that played were 'I solisti del teatro alla Scala' (Italy), Jean-Louis Capezzali (oboe, France), Michel Arrignon (clarinet, France), Sylvia Kevorkian (soprano, France), the Windband of the 'Garde Republicaine', Fabrice Moretti (saxophone), Brass Quintet 'Magnifica' and Bradley Wheeler (saxophone).
Brass Band Midden-Brabant played 'Tristan Encounters' (Martin Ellerby) and 'Riverdance' (Whelan/Farr) in front of an enthusiastic audience. The band also accompanied singer Bernard Bruel, in a selection of Jacques Brel songs, specially arranged for the occasion by pianist Sebastien Jaudon.
The nineteenth century hall was magnificent.
