The best way to ever know Mozart is not through words, but through his
music. I've provided a few MIDIS to give you a taste of his music. I would have liked to provided some WAV files, but right now they're not working. This will just have to do for now.
By the way, if you like what you hear, go to the nearest library and check out a CD on his music. The sound quality is much better and richer.
K.002 Minuet in F (H. Heldstab)
Listening to Mozart minuets are always a real treat, especially this one. Minuets were the "dance tunes" of the 18th century and Mozart was one of the best composers of them.
K.003 Allegro in Bb (H. Heldstab)
K.117 Jubilate Deo (Martin Weimar)
Jubilate Deo is a great piece of sacred music Mozart wrote while in the service of the Archbishop. It's beautiful and very uplifting. I'd like to hear more music like this in church.
K.175 Piano Concerto No. 5 in D, mov. 1 (Robert Fisher)
These piano concertos sound really good, even in MIDI form. They're also lively and very charming.
K.175 Piano Concerto No. 5 in D, mov. 2 (Robert Fisher)
K.175 Piano Concerto No. 5 in D, mov. 3 (Robert Fisher)
K. 191 Concerto in Bb for Bassoon (Randy Reid)
K.211 Violin Concerto in D, Mov. 1 (Robert Fisher)
K.211 Violin Concerto in D, Mov. 2 (Robert Fisher)
K.211 Violin Concerto in D, Mov. 3 (Robert Fisher)
K 216 Violin Concerto, Mov.1 (Robert Fisher)
K 216. Violin Concerto, Mov. 2 (Robert Fisher)
K.216 Violin Concerto in G, Mov. 3 (Robert Fisher)
