| When this song first appeared on We're Only in it for the Money LP, a verse was censored out and included backwards under the title "Hot Poop" at the end of side one. When Zappa released the album on CD together with Lumpy Gravy (Rykodisc 40024) he included the original verse. BUT for this edition Frank had Arthur Barrow and Chad Wackerman to re-record the bass and drums parts. Later, We're Only... was reissued on CD (Rykodisc 10503) from the LP stereo master tape... so the unfamous verse appeared censored out once again! Now you can download the ORIGINAL UNCENSORED VERSION OF "MOTHER PEOPLE" with the original bass and drums of Roy Estrada and Jimmy Carl Black. |

En la edición original en LP de We're Only in it for the Money, esta canción tenía un verso censurado (que se lo puede escuchar en reverso en el tema "Hot Poop"). Cuando Zappa editó el disco en CD junto a Lumpy Gravy (Rykodisc 40024) incluyó la versión sin censura, pero con las partes de bajo y batería regrabadas por Arthur Barrow y Chad Wackerman. Para la reedición de We're Only... en CD (Rykodisc 10503) se usó la cinta master del LP: las partes de bajo y batería son las originales, pero el dichoso verso volvió a quedar "censurado". Aquí puedes bajarte LA VERSIÓN ORIGINAL SIN CORTES DE "MOTHER PEOPLE", con el bajo de Roy Estrada y la batería de Jimmy Carl Black. |

| During the recording sessions for this song (written by Indian violinist L. Shankar with lyrics by Frank), Van Morrison was hanging at the studio. Frank invited the Irish artist to sing this song. Morrison accepted and received his paycheck. But in those days Zappa was sueing Warner Brothers, so the label declined permission for Morrison to participate on the record. The song was finally included on the L. Shankar album Touch Me There with Zappa and Ike Willis on lead vocals. |

Durante la grabación de esta canción, con letra de Zappa y música del violinista indio L. Shankar, Van Morrison estaba en el estudio y fue invitado a cantarla. The World's Greatest Sinner: Zappa wrote the score for this 1961 b-movie starring, written and directed by Timothy Carey. The film tells the story of an insurence salesman that runs for president of the USA claiming he is god. You can listen to the main theme (sung by Baby Ray & the Ferns -Ray Collins), the final scene music, and the closing titles music (performed by the Pomona Valley Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Fred E. Graff). |
