Welcome to Symra's home page.
Symra dances at "Folkemuseet"
Symra is one of the most
active folk dance groups in Oslo. The group meets every Wednesday at 20.00-22.15
at
Storsalen in the BLS-house
in "Nordahl Bruns gt 22". (near the old "Rikshospitalet", next to the "Blitzhuset").
Symra offers courses for beginners
in "gamaldans", two courses every half year. The first one starts in
the beginning of
January and about Sept. 1., and the second one in
the beginning of March and October. Information: e-mail

Symra works with all types of folk dances: folk
dance: old pair dances, square
dance, songdance and village
dances.
In addition we offer other avtivities: trips abroad, mountain trips, theater
visits, cabin visits, ...
Do you want to join the group? Just come to our meetings at Storsalen at
the BLS-house. You are welcome!
Are you single? Or a couple? Does not matter! You are all
welcome to the courses and at our meetings (dance evenings).
We promise you: a good atmosphere, a fine hobby, trim for body and soul,
and many good friends.
You don't know folkdancing? Then the best choice is to join a beginners
course.

Symra gives folklore shows (for tourists etc).
