Happy Birthday, Vienna
By Robert (cl_kaulana) Farley
(Somewhat to the tune of Beethoven's Fuer Elise.)
In GeoCities Vienna I have a home it's in Strasse
I like to update every day and so I stay upon the phone
You'll hear the signal of busy whenever you try to call me
Because I'm using FTP dada daduh dada da duh
When on the Web I sought a home, in Vienna did I first roam
The people there seemed quite unique and so to speak I thought that I
Would fit in well though you can tell my knowledge of the classics dwells
Mostly in areas of rock rather than Mozart, Brahms, or Bach
And now the anniversary of Vienna is number three
She's grown so much in such a time, just like a vine grows to the sun
So that the sites I rarely scan, what can I do? I'm just one man
And I will strive to serve her well, for Vienna, my pride does swell.
I know you can do better. Why not get out your pen and paper, or keyboard and WordPad, and set down your thoughts about Vienna and send it to viennaonline@oocities.com. About the only rule is it has to be "clean," meaning not dirty, gross, indecent, or offensive. Try to get them mailed by April 28 to make the May 1 Vienna Online issue. However, late entries will continue to be added to the list. After all, Vienna is a big place, so it can have a big birthday bash.
