Isn't it a telling fact that to make the US Gov. look good one needs to compare it with the most evil images which our media has created - NAZI Germany or Stalinist Russia? Even OJ looks all right when the field of comparison is Josef Mengele, Adolf Hitler, or George Bush. George Bush!?!?!? -- Certainly there is a mistake here? George is far better than OJ!!! " That's the most ridiculous & outrageous thing I've ever heard!" That George isn't counted among those infamous is demonstration of how effective our media is at sculpting public belief. Mr. Bush, who ordered the "precision" bombing of Baghdad, was not only responsible for 100,000 Iraqi troops killed, but 150,000 civilians! Mr. Bush is responsible for the aftermath of the Gulf "War"/Slaughter where over 100,000, mostly infants & the elderly died and are still dying as a result of the destruction of essential services (i.e. hospitals, sewage, potable water, etc.). How many will die in the years to come from the "depleted" uranium utilized in the casings of tens of thousands of armor piercing shells is anyone's guess. NONE of these facts were widely reported in the US media. A media by the way which is much more interested in who gives blowjobs to the president. With that kind of thought control why worry about "free speech"? "Free speech" such as it exists in the US is a sign of its political stability, history demonstrates that in times of political unrest every state restricts freedom of expression. Moreover it is well documented that agencies of the US government kept surveillance of law abiding US citizen engaged in "free speech". When destabilization arises in the US they will know which doors to kick in! How does the US look when compared not with NAZI Germany, but with New Zealand, Nepal, or Norway? The terrorist organization known as the CIA exists for the purpose of murder, torture, and sabotage, as well as gather "intelligence", i. e. knowledge of whom to kill, whom to torture, and what to sabotage! If they'll commit MURDER outside our borders how long do you suppose they refrained from murder inside? We don't know who the US Gov. has had murdered within it's borders, after all such crimes are "covert operations". But the more one looks into both Kennedy assassinations the CIA (/FBI) is a reasonable candidate for those domestic acts of terrorism. Since no one saw the assassin(s) it is only a theory, and one not well supported by the known facts, that either Oswald shot JFK or that there was only one shooter. Still it is idle to argue over speculations when there is so much other documented material, which by the way if one examines, the speculations appear vastly more plausible. The CIA instigated the overthrow of the DEMOCRATICALLY elected governments in Guatemala, Iran, and Chile and installed military dictatorships which murdered, tortured, and imprisoned those attempting to exercise "free speech". Check out the CIA's operation Phoenix in Vietnam, or the School of the Americas at Fort Benning, which trains our dictator allies in South & Central America how to eliminate the lives and liberties of their oppressed populations. Therefore: CIA=GESTAPO!!! If our "freedom" requires so much blood letting of others should we not only be ashamed, but renounce it as well? Any country whose "freedom" depends on terrorism abroad is living a lie. Our freedom is illusory so long as "our" secret police deprive others of their freedom. Our material comfort and qualified absence of supervision should not be confused with freedom. Hegel pointed out that no one is free until everyone is free. Perhaps we in the USA need to rethink "Democracy" and "Freedom"?
