This group was started by my mother Agapita Limon in 1974 as a non-profit organization.  She promoted "The Dances of Mexico" and intended to build pride in our youth.  The members are from south Austin.

This group began with the membership of 6 families.  The Original members include:
Julie and Alice Ojeda; Oralia and Joann Soto; Joann and Christina Ledesma;
Patricia, Paulina, Lupita and Cruz Domiguez; Nora, Roland and Ruban Salinas; and all of our family which includes, Benny, Mercedes, Marie, Hector, Teresita, Marianita, and Jose Limon.
