Who Are We?

Wallingford Cycling Club is a cycling club and USAC racing team based in Wallingford, CT, focused on promoting amateur racing and cycling in the central Connecticut region. We welcome riders of all ages and abilities with an interest in racing or training for road, MTB, cyclocross or triathlons. Experience is not necessary, and beginners are welcome.

Goals

Our primary focus is the promotion of grass roots racing and introducing new riders to the challenge and fun of competitive cycling. We will be offering group training rides in the spring and USCF coaching for riders new to racing. We are, at the core, a group of people who simply love to cycle. Not sure if you want to race, but would like to ride and challenge yourself? That’s OK too. Come and join us! Our long-term goals include the formation of an elite sponsored squad in addition to our club riders and racers, and the growth and promotion of racing in this region. This year we will be seeking to sponsor at least one to two racing events, as well as competing throughout the New England and North Eastern regions.
