And Now By Special Request we present Wagontales Bud Dee
Bud Dee's birth mother is Cindy aka Wagontales
Trail Blazer ... Cindy's picture is in the album here. Daddy's (Wagontales
Heeza Keeper) picture will be added soon. Bud Dee is 5 weeks old
here. He is content to stay in until mom leaves and actually
managed to climb up and fall out just after the last picture was
taken. The "pen" was put away immediately, to avoid any
risk of injury to the little fella. Bud Dee has had the run of
the house since then and managed to explore every nook and cranny.
Here he is at 8 weeks old on the coffee table beside my african violet. Of course he didn't get there by himself. Just an easier angle for the camera. Countless times we had to help him climb a regular step. Getting down was easy, we actually caught him using mommy for support. He soon found out that it was not that hard to get back up all he had to do was stand with his front paws on the step and "kii yii" in puppy lingo. This would bring his people parents on the run and all would be right again. Bud Dee has now moved in with his adopted mom and dad. We miss him terribly, but we chose his new parents with love and care and know that he will be very happy with them. They waited over 5 months for Bud Dee and came to see him regularily from the very day he was born. They called back the same evening to report in. Bud Dee's new mom was carrying him and a little lady came up to say "That's not real "Bud Dee moved and she squealed "Oh! It is!!!" New Mommy clucked her tongue and said.......... "I don't walk around in public carrying my stuffed toys"
Bud Dee is
now 3-1/2 months old. His mom took him in to have his shots
updated on schedule. New vet. immediately picked Bud Dee up by
the scruff of his neck and while suspending him, gave him a shake.
Bud Dee, up to this point thought all humans were gentle and kind,
and was very frightened by this new people person. So frightened
he screamed all through the entire experience, so loudly he was
heard in the waiting room by his dad. He even wet on the table!
He didn't understand this at all, he loved and kissed every
people person he ever met! AND the other vets he had visited didn't
even make him whimper when they gave him his needle, as a matter
of fact he was so busy kissing them he didn't even know it
happened! New mom advised the clinic she would not be returning
as she did not like the way Bud Dee had been treated. The vet.
claimed he only wanted to see how "fiesty" he was. Bud
Dee's parents have scheduled his final puppy shots with the lady
vet across town who was so nice to him before. They do not
believe it is necessary to frighten any little puppy that way.
Bud Dee still loves all people but now shys away from anyone if
they suddenly try to reach for him. He will remember this
experience for a good long while.
