My Friends
This page is dedicated
to the major people in my life whom I have not including any personal commentaries
in other of the pages I have made so far. Friendships that have survived
the test of time and distance.
Ah-hua, my all time bestest fwen. Never
really believed in the term "Best Friend" until I found one in her. Stuck
by me through all my crazy "phases" from Sec1 up to now, and still patiently
tolerating me! Think she knows me better than I know myself! Can't exactly
express in words how much she means to me, but I think (I hope!) she knows
that, to say the least, it's ... A LOT!
Beverly ... the only reason that made
2 months of "hell" in Outram all worthwhile. Can't believe how well we
hit it off and how close we've gotten through the past year. The wackiest
woman I've ever come across (and as some people would say .. "intriguing",
as well, rite, BEF?? :)) Could never hold in a laughter just being with
her.
Isabelle and I,
a great pose being the softball "backstop". We've come a long way, too.
Never were in the same class, (well, maybe for 4 days, remember? hah) but
somehow we were still inseparable in RGS. As Vanessa put it, " You and
Isabelle were like the goddesses of the school, acted like you 2 owned
the place!". Guess it was sitting in the middle of the tuckshop FLOOR,
screaming at the top of our lungs at each other while playing "Speed",
our morning routine of wrestling at the top of the Ampitheatre before assembly
... not very glamourous goddesses, i would say .. but we sure had a hell
of a lot of fun times together!
Gene and I. Apprently met as toddlers,
but neither of us can vouch for that. Oh well ... it's been 15 yrs since
then yet it doesn't seem like we missed out on those "lost" years at all!
Yulin -- the oldest friend I have that
I'm still very much in contact with. What's it been ... 11 years so far?
And still complaining about what I did to her in Pri2! Talk about long-term
memory, man!!! I SAID I WAS SORRY!!! :Þ
Yuhui ... was only lucky enough to
have gotten to know her much better, ironically, after i left. Glad, I
did, though, cos it's a real gift to have found someone who seems to be
think and see things the way I do. Also the 1st person I've met who can
wrote longer e-mails that me! (amazing, huh .. but got fite lah! :))
MINGLI!!! Stuck together like glue in
JC (that is, when she ever DID go!) and pigged out like MAD! The one who
introduce me to IRC, which was my 1st step to being less biased against
computers. And look where it's gotten me now! (A whole webpage!) Too bad
the only class we really had together was Econs (which we took full advantage
of to chat and annoy poor Mr Nathan). Been through a lot of crap together,
too ... stuff that I think neither of us could ever forget.
Ronghan (left) and Yuzhan (right) ...can't
mention one name without the other. Both my "big brothers" ... those study
days in Hall 4, our race to get the high-score on 1945 (I swear I spent
a bomb on that game!) were totally unforgettable.
Yuzhan, wonder if you'd even be weraing
that robe if not for my inspirational company. :) Notice, though .. that
I screwd up MY promos! >:)
Ronghan, always full of "words of wisdom"
for anyone who needs some. Probably the nicest guy I know ... hope life
treats you as well as you treat it!

background)

Last but not least ... just the 4 of
us. Used to drive the rest of the hjc team (and sometimes the rest of the
sch population) nuts ... but well, continued to do so, anyway. :)
We got so much closer after we got
to JC, but when we did ... man, it was awesome. Experienced too much together
to not have noticed. Both Sec 4 and J2 .. painful, but it was made so much
easier cos we knew we had one another.
