PRESIDENT'S CORNER We held our first "Ways &
Means" meeting at my house on
5 May, in attendance were Larry Leonardson, Henry Domme and myself.
We discussed upcoming events & budget concerns. The items will
be brought up at our business meeting on 22 May. If anyone has any
ideas, we are still interesting in hearing any of your concerns. I have
mentioned before the idea of maybe having a get together at someone's home,
even my own very modest abode in good weather. Ideas can be the life-blood
of any organization, I would like to hear some of your good ideas.
On Monday, 12 May, I presented the first of
three John A. Keller-CWOA Scholarship checks of $750.00 to Carmen Abrazado
in my office area, I had a picture taken and will have it sent to National
for the newsletter.
I want to thank Mattie for representing our
club at the National meeting & bringing me back all kinds of information.
I would also like to thank Fred Cressman for auditing our books for us.
When Last We Met
Our last meeting was held on May 22th. It was at
MI CASITA and a great meal and a chance to socialize was enjoyed
by all that attended.
