NEXT  MEETING 
 The Meeting will be held on the 19th of November. This a business meeting . Nominations and elections of Club Officers.   There will be a light meal available if you desire.  Also members are encouraged to bring a can good to help the CG Angel Fund provide Thanksgiving Baskets.
The Meeting will be held at the consolidated club ISC, from 1800 till 2100.  The Entertainment Committee has arranged for a steak dinner for $8.00. This includes a baked potato, vegetable, tossed salad, and coffee/tea. Spouses are welcomed.  Please make reservations no later than 15 November to Henry Domme: 487-1546,

When Last we Met
There Were 54 who attended the seafood outing. Our annual Fish Fry was held on 17 October at the ISC Picnic Area. TheFeast started at 1300 and lasted till 1500.  Oysters and fish Hot-dogs and hamburgers were available for non seafood lovers. Thanks  goes to Harvey Moore for his untiring help on cooking and Mary Arnolds clam chowder.

Coast Guard Angel Fund
The Officers' Spouses Association and the Chaplain's office have kicked off this year's Angel Fund. On Wednesday, Nov.18, we will be putting together the Thanksgiving baskets in the Multi-Function room next to the Chaplain's office. 
Volunteers are welcome and appreciated. In addition to putting baskets together, there are three ways to assist with this operation:
Be an Angel: Buy Christmas gifts for a needy Coast Guardchild. We will supply you with the age and size of the child and you purchase the gifts.  To be an "Angel", please contact:  Nellie Leonardson at 721-6827      or 
Heather Welzant at  479-3029. 
Donate Food: Items needed include:  canned hams, canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned gravy, canned cranberries,  canned yams, Stove Top stuffing, package rice mixes,  pie mixes, pie crust mixes, instant mashed potatoes.
Please remember donations should be non-perishable, 
unopened items. 
Cash: Cash contributions are encouraged. Make your checks payable to  CG Angel Fund. Donations may be given to:
