Wedding Decorating Tips We Used

First Things First ! Refill your cup and let's get started! How do you keep a wedding budget under $5000.00 Easy! Just do alot of the decorating yourself with homemade but very attractive crafts! We started with making the table center pieces. A heartshaped floral arrangment with a single white candle. You can use just about any hard form for the base. We used scrapes of 12"x12"X 1/2"pine board we bought for $.50 at our local hardware store. Cut them in a heart shape using a cut out 12" heart shaped stenstil. I then covered the board with foil wrapping paper in of course pink!( the color my daughter chose for her wedding ). Making a small 6" heart out of styrafoam insulation board(also bought at the hardware store)I hot glued it to the larger heart and glued on silk flowers, ribbon and put a candle in the center. TaDa! One elegant center piece
How about an alernative to giving away cake! We made fridge magnets...of course heart shaped. You need a nice verse to put on it and can be printed on lables that you do on your computer or if you are artistic you can paint directly on the wood heart( or shape you choose).Again check your hardware store first as we found it cheaper than going to a craft center. Alittle ribbon around the edge and glue a magnet on the back and you are done!
