"Billie"
Hi-i-i! My name is Billie and I was brought home to play with Buddie and Bobbie.

This is me. I'm called a white-eyed conure, I'm a little boy, and I'm a beautiful bird!!

Buddie didn't like me at first, but now we're great friends and we do everything together! I'm glad mom bought me! I also have beautiful irridescent feathers colored green like Buddie and Bobbie. I don't have a red head like them, but when I spread my wings I have beautiful yellow feathers under there. I can't see them, but everyone talks about how beautiful they are when I spread my wings out. They say, "Oo-o! Look at the beautiful yellow feathers under her wings!"

We eat very well, "Harrison" food mom says is what we eat. We take baths, have fresh fruit and we beg whenever mom and dad eat! Sometimes they share their food. I don't know what name it is, but it's good too!

Sometimes Aunt Joanne comes over to visit and we play "bankee" (blanket in human language). It's a really fun game and we love to play it with Aunt Joanne! She pretends she's going to cover us up with a blanket and says "bankee!" When we hear her say "bankee", we all screech as loud as we can! She covers us up, but we get out all the time and we chatter as loud as we can! Phew! Playing "bankee" is lots of fun!

Aunt Joanne is really good to us. She bought us new sleepies. They're fuzzy things that hang in our beautiful wrought iron cage bought for us by Grandpa Pete. Me and Buddie have the yellow one and Bob sleeps in the green one. Bob chewed hers up though, but mom and dad didn't seem to mind. I think it's ok when we chew things.

We share our house with "Tiffy". She's what they call a dog, a miniature Italian greyhound mom calls her. I don't get too close to her...Bobbie does though. Bob likes Tiffy! Bob will climb down our cage and yell to Tif, "..'Mer dog!" Tiffy comes running over and Bob gives her kisses! Not me! That dog can jump high and run fast! I stay away from her!

I like it here. I think I'll stay with Buddie and Bobbie. Mom says I only have one bad thing about me...she says I swear. I think I'm talking! The man at the pet store taught me and now mom and dad are trying to stop me from saying it. They seemed so happy when they found out I could talk, now they don't want me to talk. WOW! I gotta go!! It's time to eat again! Dad brought home pizza! Maybe we can get some!

Want to sail back home?

Thanks Nan! I stole your bird!
