Following through another doorway, you find a young boy scurbbing down a dragon couch...

As you stand and watch him working diligently, you realize he didn't hear you walk into the cavern. Clearing your throat to announce your presence, you step foward out of the shadows of the hall entrance.

You grin to yourself as the boy lets out a startled yelp, jumps up and turns to face the doorway. He grins as he sees you standing there. "Sorry, I didn't hear you come in. Must have been too absorbed in my cleaning. I'm Jeytee, Dreamsmythe's son." He holds out his hand to you. Suddenly a green flit comes flying through the doorway behind you, chittering and scolding.

"Now, Sebella, our visitor didn't mean to sneak up on me, I'm fairly certain." As the flit lands on Jeytee's shoulder, he walks toward you. "Now apologize and say hello to our visitor." The flit's eyes calm to a pleasant blue-green swirl as she croons at you.

Jeytee gives you a puzzled glance. "Did mother send you?" "Why, no actually, I saw the hallway and decided to explore," you reply, wondering if you've done something wrong.

He smiles, sensing your confusion. "That's okay. She sometimes asks our guests to forward messages if they see me." He looks over your shoulder, surpressing a grin. "Um, let's move out of the way and finish our conversation over there." He points toward a small door on the other side of the dragon couch. "Yes, please do. I'd like to take a nap."

Jeytee laughs as you emit your own startled yelp and turn to face the creature that belongs to the voice you heard in your head. "Traveler, may I introduce my bronze beauty, Kamath." You look at the dragon looking down at you and wonder that you didn't hear him coming up behind you. "Hello," you say, amazed. "Hello." You hear his deep bass voice once again inside your head. "Now, about that nap?" You smile at the question in his voice and follow Jeytee away from the dragon couch.

"He's...," you begin, not knowing what to say. Jeytee laughs again. "Yes, he is at that! We were impressed at Karath Weyr when it was being managed by Jenna. Symone is now taking care of the impressions and searching candidates. You look like you might be candidate material. Like to try?" You look at him in astonishment. Impress a dragon? You consider... Why not? "Okay," you nod. "What do I need to do?"

"Well, go back through the hallway and you'll find a portal about halfway through that will take you to Karath Weyr. Go through the portal and follow the directions that Symone will give you. Mother had that portal created once both of us had impressed. That way, others who want to try their hand at impression can find their way to the weyr easily." Jeytee looks around. "Since I impressed Kamath, today is really the first time I've had to clean up around here. I hope you don't mind if I leave you to finish cleaning?"

"Of course not," you exclaim, never having meant to interrupt. "Oh, thanks!" Smiling, Jeytee gives you leave to explore his weyr while he goes back to work...
