The Bradley Method was crucial in preparing me for both my births; for pregnancy and birth, its philosophy, education, and instruction is superior to every other method I've seen.

Both of my children were born without the use of drugs, episiotomy, i.v., or those difficult-to-remember breathing techniques that sometimes cause hyperventilation. Giving birth was difficult, but thoroughly rewarding and exhilarating.

ONLY instructors currently affiliated with the American Academy of Husband-Coached Childbirth are licensed to teach The Bradley Method, or even to use The Bradley Method name!

  I've experienced all this, and I'll be updating this site to include some stories and advice. I have two children; I was single for several years after I had my first child; I attended a community college until I transfered to the University of California at Berkeley. Soon after I began UCB, I married and had a second child; I am currently (fall 1997) attending UCB, majoring in English.
