What Got Me Interested In Diana?:
I'm kind of embarresed to say this, but I wasn't interested in Diana until I heard of her death that night. I had known who she was but never took an interest in her. I believe that I became interested in her because she died so young and so tragically (things I fear)and then I learned about all the wonderful things she has done and I now wish I had paid attention when she was alive.

Where Was I The Night Diana Died?:
I was on a weekend break from my ex-college. It was my freshman year and I had brought a friend, Sara, home with me for the weekend. After my high school's football game Sara and a good friend, Donnie, who was home on leave from the Navy, and Shannon another friend went to see a movie. I took Shannon home first and then Donnie and Sara came back to my house for a bit. When we walked in my mom said that Princess Diana had been in a car accident but she was going to be alright. I turned around to look at the television and there it was at the bottom of the screen, "Princess Diana dead in Paris car accident". I said to my mom, "Mom, she's dead." I kneeled down on the floor and watched the television screen trying not to cry. Donnie knelt down beside me and put his arm around my shoulder because he noticed I was upset. We watched a bit more of the news when I needed to take Donnie home. When we pulled into Donnie's driveway Sara stayed in the car listening to the radio while Donnie and I talked outside. We leaned against my car and stared up at the beautiful starry sky and I started crying over Diana's death. Donnie comforted me. I can remember it so perfectly like it was yesterday and I still can't believe she's gone.
