She is sooo very cool!
I love that she's so grumpy and crotchety!
If I were an old squirrel who had retired from show biz
and had a cute little nephew like Skippy....
(this is sounding a little psycho, but go with me on this!)
I would be just like her! Who else can drink a
pint of buttermilk, (it makes a body bitter) drive like a maniac,
annoy a group of old forest animals from her youth, blow up someone or something or both, and still have the patience to care for her nephew, Skippy? That's Slappy!
Pinky and the Brain!
Yes, I'm a fan... Can I help it if I think that
a lab mouse might run the world better than we humans have?
Who could forget the classic episode where Brain decides to run for government office in the United States
in another effort to take over the world?! "Meet John Brain" He talks his normal talk and walks his normal walk
and it just goes to show you that people will believe whatever they are willing to invent.
They explain his redical notions as being normal and from their own realities around them... wow! I'm getting too deep!

.....And who could forget that episode where Skippy cries when Bumbie's mother gets shot?
Slappy drags Skippy all over town and they finally get to
the home of the actress who played Bumbie's mom, Skippy cries even harder because he thinks his Aunt Slappy is playing some sort of trick on him because all he sees is this old, nearly blind deer in a head wrap and house frock. She does the dream sequence where she tells Bumbie to not venture out too far into the meadow where there is no cover and thankfully ends the scene before she gets shot again. Skippy's faith is restored and he quits crying....until they go back and see another movie!
That's Slappy! She's probably my favorite of all the Animaniacs!

My favorite episode was where Lydia got hurt in the Neitherworld and Beetlejuice had to take her to the Neitherworld Hospital... they were walking down the hall and and three hearts were walking toward them with the gleam of malicious intent in their eyes and were yelling, "EEEEaaaah EEEEaaah EEEEaaah." Beetlejuice and Lydia had to take cover fast -- it was a HEART ATTACK! (he he he!)
