I have always loved to sing. Even as a little girl. My first solo was done in church when I was three years old. The song? A Roy Acuff gospel song titled “The Great Speckled Bird”. I dreamed about being a great country singer. Someone like Patsy Cline or Kitty Wells. But that didn’t happen. I tried though. I sang in bars and dance halls, and honky tonks, but I never got the breaks that others got. Or so I thought. I just didn’t realize that when I accepted Jesus at the age of nine, God had other plans. And I have since learned that He doesn’t allow many things to come between Him and His plans. He knew if he allowed me to be a successful country singer it might be more difficult to bring me into His flock to do what He wanted me to do. I am so glad Jesus is a patient man. He waited for me to finally “grow up” and let Him work with me and through me.
I have written, in the last 3 or 4 years, about 50 songs and choruses. Some I have recorded and some are just for the Lord. I do concerts and music seminars, large and small. So if you are a small church, and you think I might not come, write, call or email me. You just may be surprised. My best times have been in the small churches. For more information Write or call:
