The Story Of Perseus |
Part Five:
On returning home Perseus come across a kingdom where the Queen claimed she and her daughter were more beautiful than the sea nymphs. This had angered Poseidon/Neptune (greek/roman) and he sent a terrible monster to eat the Queen's daughter, Andromeda. Perseus had other plans, he had fallen in love with Andromeda and was going to save her. He used the winged sandels Athena had given him to dodge the moster's attacks and at the right moment he pulled Medusa's head out of the bag and the monster promptly turned to stone. The King was so grateful for his daughter's safety he rewarded Perseus Andromeda's hand in marrage.
