The Ring Of Hatshepsut
Before Cleopatra, Egypt had a Queen named Hatshepsut, she was the first woman in recorded history to rule. Her name means "most noble of noble women" and she is known as the Queen who dared to be King. She was the daughter of a pharaoh, and the wife of a pharaoh. She went against the normal policy of her time when on the death of her husband she proclaimed herself Pharaoh, and denying the pharaoh's young son his rightful place as ruler of Egypt. She remained Pharaoh for 20 years and during that period Egypt flourished. In her honor Hatshepsut's Web is a webring for women who dare to be different (you know who your are without any explanations). Your page's subject matter is not important and fancy code work is not a requirement. The requirements are you must be a woman, your page must be well maintain.
If your site contains "adult" material, violence, cruelty to animals, children, women, please do not submit to this ring. Pages found to contain this type of subject matter will not be allow and if found the site will be terminated from webring. I want people of all ages to be able to enjoy Hatshepsut's Ring.
