Forever Holding You

I love you so, with all my heart
and you make me happy, even though we're apart.

The distance between us seems so far,
but not for long cause I wished upon a star.

One night I looked up in the sky and made a wish for you
I closed my eyes and thought real hard
and hoped it would come true.

My wish for you is one of sorts,
kind of like a dream.
We'd be walking, holding hands
down beside a stream.

We'd look into each others eyes and
see the love we share
And pray our love would last forever
even if that's rare.

And then we'd pledge our love,
and my wishes would come true,
because I would be forever holding you.
