Three Riders and An Angel

Three Riders came,
O'er the Hill,
Rejection, Loss, and Shame.
They flew their banners,
In the wind,
Anger, Fear and Pain.
I saw them pass,
Felt their might,
Destruction in their way.
I hid in rubble,
Out of sight,
and waited for the day.
With Light O'er head,
The sound of wings,
An angel came to light.
Upon a rise,
she looked around,
For all within her sight.
I tried to stand,
but couldn't move.
I knew I was almost done.
She came and smiled,
and lifted me up,
we flew around the Sun.
It washed away,
Without a doubt,
The things that couldn't be seen.
We landed back
on Mother Earth,
In field of verdant green.
She let me go,
and touched my heart
with words to set me free.
They shine at night,
to guide my path,
Love, Peace and Honesty.
