I awoke this morning and drove to a place where the
ocean gently touches the shore and walked upon it,
waiting for the first sign.
A glimpse of light slowly breaks the horizon.
The place we call home, mother earth and all living
creatures begin to feel the warmth of a new day,
and for some, a new beginning, and we call it the light.

Gaelic: The Mother Tongue....
Comedians the world over, have mastered the slow drawl of the Irish
accent. Any one who is aware of different dialects of English, can
identify an Irishman, from a Scot, or a London Cockney.
People fail to realize that this Irish Language is but an import,
and recent, at that!
Gaelic is the Mother Tongue of the Republic,
English too is the most popular tongue...
There are 700,000 Irish who speak their native Language
(Irish Gaelic)... It's the very roots of Irish Culture!
And still the language of poetry and prayer.
Slainte! (Cheers )

She's the Blackberry Flower,
The fine Raspberry Flower...
She's the plant of best breed
Your eyes could behold...

She's my darling and dear,
My fresh Apple Tree Flower..
She is Summer in the cold,
Between Christmas, & Easter!..

Smaointe... ( Thoughts )

Eist le mo chroi,
Go bro a chaoi
Ta me caillte gan tu
's do bhean cheile
An gra mor i do shaol
Threoraigh si me
Bigi liomsa i gconai
La is oiche

Listen to my heart
Sorrowful, alas
I am lost without you
And you're wife
The great Love in your life
She guided me
Be with me always
Day and Night

Faoi shuaimhneas, go domain ...
(In a Deep Peace)

Ag caoineadh ar an uaigneas mor
Na deora, go bronach
Na gcodladh ins an uaigh ghlas chiuin
Faoi shuaimhneas, go domhain...

@English@

Lamenting the great loneliness
The sorrowful tears

Asleep in the quiet green grave
In a deep peace...

Athair Ar Neamh (Father n' Heaven)

Athair ar neamh, Dia linn
Athair ar neamh, Dia liom
M'anam, mo chroi, mo ghloir
Moladh duit a Dhia

Fada an la, go samh
Fada an oiche, gan gruaim
Aoibhneas, athas, gra
Moladh duit a Dhia

Moraim thu o la go la
Moraim thu o oiche go hoiche

Athair ar neamh Dia linn
Athair ar neamh Dia liom
An ghealach, an ghriain, an
ghaoth..
Moladh duit a Dhia

Father in Heaven God bless us
Father in Heaven God bless me

My soul, my heart, my glory
Praise be to you oh God

Long is the peaceful day
Long is the night without gloom

Wonder, joy, love
Praise be to you oh God

I praise you from day to day
I praise you night after night

Father in Heaven God bless us
Father in Heaven God bless me
The moon, the sun, the wind
Praise be to you oh God
