Lull

Shush,
Say nothing.
Whispers hushed
Sobbing
Surrender to
Silence and secrecy.

Baby’s gonna
Be better off
With strangers.

Quiet please,
Don’t disturb
The parents’
Slumber

With such talk:
Biology,
Geneology,
Blood and birth
They have
No worth.
Not here.

Stop shouting
How can we
Continue
If you don’t
Shut up.
