A Woman's Life in Recovery

Sober Support Links

In my personal experience, recovery is a journey that is made easier by the experience, strength and hope of others...I have had positive experiences in AA, NA, Alanon, and Codependents Anonymous.  I know people who have maintained abstinence using Rational Recovery.

I also discovered in short order that individual groups have a personality of their own.  I took it upon myself to search out the groups that best suited my personal recovery style...ALWAYS keeping in mind that I could take what I needed and leave the rest!

For those of you that believe that 12 steps are the only way...they probably are...for you!  They definitely worked for me.  I have included links to non 12 step recovery sites because I realize that each person must find the recovery program that works best for them as individuals.  The more choice one has in the matter, the more likely one is to follow a program of recovery.  Hopefully to a full and happy, clean and sober life!
