When I need you I
close my eyes…..
I imagine you standing
before me.
You have this silly
grin on your face,
because your always
the teaser
right away it brings
a smile to my face,
no matter how tough
the day has been.
I imagine you telling
me
everything is going
to be all right,
as you gently gather
me in your arms and hold me tight…
I Imagine that as
I lay my head on your shoulder,
To just rest awhile,
Your arms are wrapped
tightly around me
Caressing me, comforting
me…
I imagine lifting
up my head
and tenderly gazing
into your eyes
Wondering how I happened
to discover you…
I imagine taking
your face into
My hands and placing
a kiss ever so gently on your
Soft warm lips…
I imagine you returning
my kiss
and softly whispering
my name…
I imagine looking
into your eyes and seeing the
Reflection of my
love shining through them…
Then I open my eyes
and realize it was all
Just pretend, but
it brought a smile once again
to my face as once
again thoughts of you have
brightened my day,
if only in my imagination….
