Gardens have been loved by everyone. The Garden of Eden had "every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food."

The Flowering Dogwood blooms early in the spring. The flowers appear before the leaves. It has four large whitish bracts (modified leaves) beneath its small greenish-white flowers.
