DO I HAVE TO DANCE ALL NIGHT
This is a rare French record, made in Holland in 1976 (CBS 4431). This vinyl 7' single was recorded live in Paris in 1976. Side A has "Do I have to dance all night" (5:00). This song has never been included on any album, or issued in CD format. Side B has "The Butcher" (4:06). The backside of the cover gives French translations of the songs. Tim Tyrrell & Laura Branigan
This picture was taken in 1995 when Laura Branigan came on the morning show at Mix 105 Radio. Laura has been a favorite of mine for years so it was great to finally meet her. That morning Laura performed some of her hits live on the air and it sounded great.
CAFE 80's
Whatever I Do (Wherever I Go)
'The first SAW collaboration to hit paydirt, this was a number four hit in August 1984 for the diminutive songbird. SAW's own affection for the song is obvious; they remixed it exclusively for this album and recently re-recorded it with America's Laura Branigan.'

Laura Branigan
Laura Branigan is a singer and, increasingly, an actress from Brewster, New York, who first gained notice when she became a backup singer for Leonard Cohen in 1977. Branigan achieved considerable popular success in the early '80s by applying
her big, powerful voice to translated versions of Eurodisco hits. She was less successful with subsequent recordings in the second half of the '80s, though by then she had begun to appear on television and in films. ~ William Ruhlmann, All-Music Guide

Guy Thomas
Guy has toured as lead guitarist with Sheena Easton and Laura Branigan and has been Kenny Loggin's lead guitarist for ten years. Guy also performs locally in the L.A. area with his own original band, as well as solo acoustic performances.
Jeff Southworth's life-long career in music has encompassed performing, composing, arranging,
producing, singing and songwriting. With his own band, he opened for acts such as Cream, The Byrds and Creedence Clearwater Revival. Arriving in New York City, he quickly landed a tour with Hall & Oates as their guitarist and background vocalist for two years during the peak of theircareer. He played the guitar solo on Kiss On My List and appeared in many of their videos and recordings. During years of session work and live playing, he toured with Laura Branigan, Graham Nash, Dan Hartman, Mary Travers, Gwen Guthrie as well as many others.
"Solitaire" is the inevitable "Gloria" followup, but the album also shows unusual range, including a version of The Who's "Squeeze Box" and the dramatic ballad "How Am I Supposed to Live without You," which was a minor hit for Branigan and a much bigger hit a few years later for Michael Bolton.

Brinsley Evans
Evans is a producer with the charisma and style to score as an artist in his own right. And he has actually flirted with the limelight several times in the past few years. He is one-half of the act Uncanny Alliance, who turned clubland upside down in 1993 with "I Got My Education" and the subsequent album, "The Groove Won't Bite." He has also helmed singles for divas that include Laura Branigan. His credo? "Ya gotta give 'em a little sauce to go with the groove," he says with a laugh. "Make it spicy, make it funky!"

Stock Aitken Waterman
Britain's top record producers of the 1980's and early 1990's. From 1984 to 1993, they had a string of hits that kept on coming! Artists like Kylie Minogue (The Loco-Motion), Rick Astley (Never Gonna Give You Up, Together Forever, It Would Take A Strong Strong Man), Samantha Fox, Hazell Dean, Dead Or Alive (You Spin Me Round, Brand New Lover), Bananarama (Venus, I Heard A Rumour), Jason Donovan, Lonnie Gordon, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Mel & Kim, Pat & Mick, Debbie Harry, Edwin Starr, Laura Branigan, Cliff Richard, Donna Summer (This Time I Know It's For Real), Boy Krazy, who had a top 20 hit in the U.S. back in 1993 with "That's What Love Can Do", and countless others have scored hit singles and albums with the classic sound of commercial pop and dance that Stock Aitken Waterman were always best at producing. In 1991, Matt Aitken quit PWL, and with the remaining 2 known as Stock & Waterman, they continued to chart with Miss America 1984 Suzette Charles (single release) (promo sleeve), Sybil, Slamm, and The WWF Superstars. In October 1993, Mike Stock departed from PWL, thereby dissolving one of the greatest partnerships in pop music history.
