I NEVER KNEW

A special thank you for my friend, Pie.

I never knew it would be possible to have someone come into my life and represent the friend I've always dreamed of. Through a difficult situation that we were both emotionally involved in, we were able to get to know each other very well. We've learned a lot in a short time. I am so grateful to God for sending me this angel. She has been such a blessing to me. Thank you, Pie, for being my friend.

You have opened my heart and filled it with love.

You've done so much in your loving way.

I don't know how I deserve so much

But I thank the Lord for you each day.

My heart that once ached is healing now,

It's a special gift from above.

It's always been a dream of mine

To actually feel the love.

I don't know where my life would be now

Without you securely in it.

The love I have lacked from years gone by

Is slowly coming back to me.

The promise and hope of a happy tomorrow

Is what I now can see.

I never knew it was possible to find such

A beautiful friend.

It's a wonderful feeling to believe that

This friendship will never end.

Through this bond we share so much

Love, understanding, and even tears.

But with the openness and honesty we share

It will last throughout the years.

I never knew it was possible to feel the way I do,

But I know deep within my heart it is true...

It's because of the love and strength

That I receive from you.
