Where Manners and Eloquence were the Rule, Rather than the Exception!
A time when Men were truly "Gentlemen", and they treated their Women Like "Ladies", Always. A time when
Politeness and Courtesy were just a normal way of life.
How My Heart Longs for Those Days Again!
I don't know if a Woman exists that doesn't Dream, in the deepest corners of her Heart, for the Days when she would have always been treated with Honor and Respect.
I know that I love the Kindness and Gentleness of the period. Perhaps I lived one of my previous lives there, and that is why I cannot forget the Tenderness that I felt. Do you ever Wonder why you are Drawn, like a magnet, to a Person, a Time or a Place? I do. Perhaps
we are all "Old Souls" just looking for the time when we were
Most Content?
If this is True, then This Was My Time!
The Dignity of this Time, I believe, is what I long for most. Although, I realize not everyone possessed the Etiquette
Skills that they should have, even then. For the most part,
it was a Very Romantic Era.
There were certain Traditions,
and Rules to be Followed, and society as a whole seemed
the Better for it.
I wish there were someone to Teach our existing society the Proper Manners, Behavior, and Social Skills that were of that Period. Our Lives would be much richer and more content.
I have a hard time tolerating Rudeness, Cruelty, and Poor Manners. If Everyone Else Did,
We Might Even Change The World!

It's almost Tea Time! Please take a chair in the Parlour and Sample some Lady Fingers. They were Baked Fresh early this morning!

Tell me, did you enjoy your time at the Opera last evening? I do Love it So! Although I don't get to go as often as I'd like, I so enjoy the Carriage Ride home after. I just love the crispness of the air that comes with Spring evenings! Don't You?
The Debutante Ball is Just around the corner Again, and I'll have go to Paris to be fitted for Something to Wear! Have you planned what You'll be wearing that evening? If Not, Perhaps You would agree to come along on my trip with me, and We'll just make a Holiday of It! I'm certain You will Look Wonderful Dear, No Matter What You Choose! Oh, I Just Know We are going to have the most Magnificent Time!
