What Are STAAR And OSFL?
STAAR and OSFL are both pro-life groups in Ontario, Canada.
OSFL stands for Ontario Students For Life and is a province-wide organization
STAAR, on the other hand, is located in South Western Ontario and is a smaller group.
MISSION STATEMENT:
To PROCLAIM, CELEBRATE and SERVE the Right to Life of EVERY human
person.
Purpose:
Ontario Students for Life is a youth pro-life organization which
serves to UNITE
young pro-lifers across the province. Educate students about
pro-life issues and put
the pro-life message into positive ACTION.
OSFL works to foster a pro-life attitude in students that can be
expressed in their
every day lives.
OSFL works to develop leadership skills in students, training them
to be the future
leaders of the pro-life movement.
Beliefs:
Ontario Students for Life believe that all human life is sacred
and
should be respected
from the moment of fertilization until natural death.
OSFL is deeply concerned with all threats to human life including;
abortion,
euthanasia, suicide, war.
OSFL is an inter-denominational organization.
OSFL is a peaceful non-violent organization, we do NOT use or
support violence as a
means to achieve anything.
OSFL is Pro-Women and Pro-Life, we believe that the life of a
mother and the life of
her child are equally valuable.
Ontario Students for Life is an amazing organization to be a part
of. The enthusiasm is
electrifying, the concern is genuine, the dedication is intense
and
the cause is LIFE
GIVING.
