An Aberrated Society

Ostracized, set far apart and isolated
Separated from Society, belonging no where but my home-
A Society so senselessly cruel, so aberrated-
So eager to judge, riducule, humiliate and stone.

How can I be of Man?
And why do those in pain hurt as many as they can?

Man: unsupassed in his enormous capacity to love,
Unchallenged in his tendencies to hate-
Knowing no discipline of desire, what he’s thinking of,
Consumed by alibis and excuses that will not abate.

Does he truly know compassion for a fellow creature?
‘ever selflessly, sincerely reach to aid the weaker?

Evolution has backfired...creating a race of demolition;
Dominated by an intoxicating ability to conquer
Unable to stop of own own volition-
Incapable of providing ourselves, from ourselves, succor.

To dilute the madness, we need recognize it first...
Desist the hatred: our signature, legacy, our curse.
