Look out for the new Fiona Beverage CD/LP 'Danger/Dancing' to be released in Adelaide in December 2000, followed by a tour to Sydney and Melbourne. The new LP is a split release with Melbourne label Patsy, to be distributed through Choozy. The CD features 10 tracks, including a Piano remix of 'Dancing.' |

Fiona Beverage are pleased to announce the addition of Warren on drums. Warren also drums for Adelaide band Brunatex, but hopefully there won't be any trouble with gig clashes. Warren will play his first gig as a beverage in late April, or early May @ the Exeter. |

Fiona Beverage have returned from a fun and successful tour of Melbourne and Sydney. In Melbourne we played at the Empress Hotel with The Vivian Girls and A Slow Loris, both really great bands.
In Sydney we played 2 shows, the first a rock chick gig, organized by the Scooter collective (an organization similar to Girls with Power Tools.) The second show, in an upstairs open space at Redfern, was with Melbourne band Driving Past, U.K band Empress, and a couple of local bands. Paul from Jaguar is Jaguar and Panel of Judges helped us out in the drumming department.
We hope to tour again sometime this year, and are now looking at doing some recording. |

Fiona Beverage are sad to announce the tragic death of our drummer, Michael Bajer. For the next few months the band will be taking a break from the local scene, and practising as a 3 piece. At the moment we are not contemplating getting a new drummer, but will go ahead with our tour dates as a three piece. |

In the next few months keep your eyes peeled for a Fiona Beverage video clip. We've recieved the ArtsSA grant we applied for and are hiring the services of the blokes at the Bamboo lounge (makers of the recent LAZENBY kung-fu spoof and the BenFoldsFive tour doco.
No ideas for what it will be about as yet. |
