As Precious As A Rose

As I walk this path of life

I stop to smell a rose

The beauty of which is for this boy

For all my love I hope he knows

I dare not take it from its place

For it will surely die

I know it's worth his smiling face

The expression in his eye

I can't pretend anymore about the way I feel

The love I have for this boy I pray so will be real

In my heart is where he's at I do so hope he knows

Cause as I walk this path of life

Love is as precious as a rose

Illusion of Darkness

Cold wind, Black night, To your dreams hold on tight

Close your eyes, what do you see

Nothing but darkness,pain,misery

Lightning strikes. brightens your day

Fears and frustrations it takes away

Then the darkness sets in upon your soul

And the tears of sorrow begin to flow

Run away before its to late

But remember these words "The darks your fate"

Once in every lifetime someone comes along

The one special heart you've been waiting for

your whole life long

Once in every lifetime God sends an angel from above

To make your life completer whom you can give

your endless love

When a love like this comes make any sacrifice

Because the best things in life seldom come twice

There is no love that compares to yours and mine

You always seem to wonder,

You're never able to see Why each and everyday

You become more special to me Spoken words are not enough,

Not allowing you to know How beautiful you are to me,

My love continues to grow I wish you were able to feel,

Even for a little while, The love which fills my heart,

At the chance to witness your smile, Everytime I catch your eye,

My feelings feel brand new And you never have to question,

Forever my love is true It would take just a moment my love,

And you would realise, Only for the chance to look, At yourself through my eyes

Letting Go

With every waking moment my thoughts are filled with you.

I can't help but think about the little things you do,

The way you looked at me and smiled and looked into my eyes,

You kissed away all my fears, And everything was fine.

I would wait for you everyday just to hear you on the phone,

Then you came by one day and left me all alone,

I didn't know what to say, You had broke my heart into,

All I could do was cry, I could not look at you, It hurt so much to see you leave,

When you know I loved you so, But I can do nothing else,

So it's time to let you go

The Thought Of You

Only with the thought of you I go through everday, The things that meant so much to me,

Have all been put away, The time that we've spent talking has meant so much to me,

I shall not ever quit thinking that forever we will be,

The first hug that you gave,

sent chills all up my spine,

That moment I will save, all through the passing time,

The way you laugh out loud sends joy into my heart,

And makes me always proud to have even a little part,

And without you near right now I feel so all alone,

I wish I knew just how to make you all my own.
