I make my home in New England /USA
I'm 5' 3" tall and 23 years of age.
I visit the 3-4x board daily.
My Stats: 150/140/120
My Size Stats: 14/12/8

I started Atkins on 9/1/00.
I restrict myself to under 20 grams of carbs.

My exercise regime:

  • Sunday - Ab workout (15 min), YogaFlex (1 hr)
  • Monday - Step Aerobics (1 hr)
  • Tuesday - Yoga (1 hr)
  • Wednesday - Step Circuit (1 hr)
  • Thursday - Step circuit (1 hr)
  • Friday - Step Circuit (1 hr), YogaFlex (45 min)
  • Saturday - Step circuit (1 hr)

What I usually eat in a day:

  • Breakfast: Eggs or small portion of dinner leftovers (meat)
  • Lunch: Ceasar salad (w/chicken, hamburger or other meat that I've cooked for dinner the day before! :))
  • Dinner: Some low carb dinner (poultry or beef usually) w/low-carb vegetable
  • Snack: Lots of water!!!

Restrictions:

  • Caffeine
  • Aspertame
  • Saccharin
  • MSG

Favorite Recipe:

Deviled Eggs

1 doz Eggs (large)

6 Tbl Mayonaise

1/2 tsp hot sauce (no-carb)

dash of Paprika (dash in the mix and also sprinkle on top at the end!)

Salt & pepper to taste

1/2 tsp. Spicy Brown Mustard

Put eggs in a large pan, cover with water (with about 1" above them), bring to a boil. Remove pan from heat when water comes to a boil. Let sit for 12-15 minutes. Dump out water and rinse eggs with cold water. Let eggs cool, then peel. Cut eggs length-wise in half and place yolkes in a medium mixing bowl. In the mixing bowl with the yolks add mayonaise, hot sauce, paprika, salt (go easy!) and pepper. Mix/mash well with a fork! With a small apatula, fill each of the egg whites with the mix, then sprinkle the tops lightly with paprika for color!

  My goal:

  • Try on everything in my wardrobe!!! :) I haven't been able to do this in years! Go to the beach... In a bathing suit!... and feel confident with it.

My inspiration:

  • I can stay with this plan because I'm not hungry all the time anymore! I want to look into my closet in the morning and not say "oh my gosh I have all of these clothes and nothing to wear!" I want to be able to look in at the same clothes and say "What do I want to wear today?" ... Because I will fit into everything again!

Have you experienced any negative effects:

  • Headaches here and there. A little difficult to eat at fast food and Italian places! During the begining part of this WOE I had a hard time restricting my veggies... Oh how I love my vegetables! :) (I've been able to incorporate more of them into my WOE now though)

As soon as I can get access to a scanner, I will definitely submit photos! I can't wait to do this! I can't wait to see what I look like when I get to goal too! This is the BEST support board I've ever been a part of! Thank you all!
